Wolfgang Mozart played the organ and his father Leopold the violin in the fist two performances of this work.

Mozart's requiem is better, and more sublime. but clearly some of his requiem borders on plagiarism of M. Haydn's. Especially the Requiem Aeternam.
I don't usually compare the two. Each possesses its unique nuance-beautiful and yet powerful enough to immerse me in a sublime feeling.
