Integrate Zoho CRM And Zoho Books The Easy Way

Zoho CRM is great for managing your customers, Zoho Books is awesome at managing your transactions and finances!
However there are a few things you need to be aware of before you can connect them together.

Yes, you will need to go through the integration steps, even if you have Zoho One.

Can an existing books account be linked to an existing crm account using zoho deluge?

Hi, You can connect any Zoho CRM to any Zoho Books account using the deluge scripting. Deluge has access to the APIs so you can connect pretty much anything, Just make sure you get your field mapping right.

Great help - thanks my good man ! I just recently started a BOOKS subscription - what do I do with all the invoices I made earlier using CRM's invoice module ? Can I migrate that into BOOKS ?

There isn't a direct migration route, however, you could export the invoice (& invoice items) tables from the CRM setting under export or backup. Then you can import invoices in Books (look for the 3 lines in the top right corner of the invoice module). You may have to play around with the csv files a bit to get it in, also the they customers may not link directly from the import so you may have change a few manually.

@@kaibenmiracle Absolutely possible, I have done a few of these through my developers. You need to call the books API and map the fields across.

@@thecrmtrainer2832 Shall I try the CSV method ? Would I need to manually map the fields ? The sample import csv on BOOKS is different from the export csv from the CRM. Thank you again for the help. :)

@@kaibenmiracle - Yes you would need to manually map the fields. Books output file does look different so you may want to create a master spreadsheet and figure out which columns match from source (CRM) to target (books).

Is there a way to sync Sales Order from CRM to Zoho Books? I did watch your view and we have the same options. I can only sync contacts, vendors, and products. :D Sales orders can't be synced.

Hi Saitoshi, You can sync the CRM Sales orders to the Books Orders but only via the API using a deluge script function. Many people just swap to Zoho Books transaction modules inside Zoho CRM. However, for some people who want to use Zoho CRM Sales orders and Zoho Books, they will need to use custom code.

Do you know how to sync CRM Sales to CRM Zoho Finance Module Sales? Or it requires a custom deluge function as well?
