    We always used a hearse for a direct cremation and always proceeded through a chapel. We never just delivered a deceased via the back door like many other funeral homes. This video is very respectful and gladdens my heart that some funeral directors pay this respect.

    This is such a dignified video and must surely put at ease those who want a direct cremation in Staffordshire but have no family or friends to mourn their passing.

    This is what love looks like. The family can heal knowing that their loved one is being cared for with as much love as the Savior provides. Your loved one is walking with the very One who loves you unconditionally. They are loved no matter what. Loves shows so much care and understanding.

    So this is quite different to those where the deceased is placed into a cardboard box, secured with packing tape and this taken, with others, possibly some distance away to a crematorium where a bulk contract has been arranged and then, if necessary, stored as is now permitted by changes in the cremation regulations, until sufficient clients are at that location and it is efficient to warrant the prolonged use of a crematory.

      Maybe a family isn't able to pay for a funeral service and all the services of a burial or cremation and maybe the deceased doesn't either have any family left or they haven't spoken to their family in a while and fell out of touch with them so when they pass away the funeral undertakers become their family for a very short time before they are sent into the cremation retort or into the cemetery grave and never seen again.

      There is a high number of old people like me who have no friends or family so this would be perfect, just slip away unnoticed and without fuss.

    A funeral is for the living, The deceased spirit has gone to their belief, God, Allah or the spirit world, The best beliefs in my eyes are Islam and Judaism.

      You don’t have to have it,many direct cremations pick the body up from Hospital, Hospice,Home, put you in their van direct to crem no service, ashes delivered in cardboard box to you door. The whole point of a Direct funeral is YOU say exactly what you want. There’s no embalming, flowers,service, or relatives, that’s what I’m going do. Not even my sons will be there, I told them I’ll haunt them if the change anything. 😏

    But you don't show what you do after the cremation takes place! you don't show how you sweep the powdered bone from the kiln into the tray below or how you scan the powdered bones with a magnet to make sure all metal is removed or how the powdered bone goes through a grinder to make a finer powdered bone as well as making sure there are no possible identifiable bone fragments left all before putting them in the urn. Contrary to popular belief it is not ashes in the urn, everything gets vaporized in the kiln except the bones of the deceased which are ground into a fine powder and put in to the urn.

    • @bayfield15
      @bayfield15 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No. Probably because the funeral director is not responsible for that part of the service. There's still a respect shown even though the cremation part is very raw.

    • @howard1707

      You are confusing the funeral process and the cremation process.
