When Langa smiles during this scene it reminds me of joker from p5. A character who barely expresses themselves smiling from enjoying the thrill of something.
I wish he wouldn’t get so much hate. I know he uses the word ‘love’ with Langa but his definition of love has been beaten into him since he was a kid. I honestly don’t think it’s a romantic kind of love but one of admiration. In regards to the dance, I believe the reason he gets close to Langa is referencing the culture his Matador theme comes from. Many Spanish dances require one to get very close to their partner. Forgive my rant but all the hate makes me frustrated

This scene was somehow the most hype and terrifying crap I've ever witnessed. Within, like, 3 minutes of screen time, you have Adam taunting Langa, Langa being fed up with it and almost causing both of them to crash, Adam managing to do a 180 on a turn, Langa freaking jumping over it without so much as flinching, Adam staying perfectly still (in the middle of the race, mind you) to process what just happened, and then him going absolutely *feral* to catch up to Langa... ...so far, definitely looking to be anime of the year for me.
I just wanna say this: THIS ANIME IS SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! Animation: 🤯 Just how smooth it is! And I like how it focuses on the skate/action (anime before were a bit in the close-up shots) Characters: Design 💯 Characteristics 💯💯💣 I really love this animation. I hope to see more of it
