These guys reminded me so much of the Dartmouth Aires. The lead guy doesn't have quite the powerful voice that Michael of the Aires had but he makes up for it in his range. And the other lead has a great voice himself. I think they could go far
I don't think that they're as theatrical as the Aires, though. I personally, enjoy listening to the Aires better, because they ARE more theatrical and are more fun.
I feel so bad, but I didn't notice till now that Jeremy Michael Lewis was with this group! I didn't even realize he was on the Sing Off! What you doing boy, making those girls swoon?! You should only have eyes for Kirstie lol....
He’s a clout chaser -always has been. Heard he was mean as hell in high school (towards gay people)- these Internet personalities just want to be unattached from their old personas.. well there are people that notice and it’s the same reason I’ve dropped childhood friends. I can see fakeness creeping in and sense change in people for the worse... I found Lauren on accident one day kept following her and I see the constant change she acts discretely arrogant and doesn’t realize or doesn’t want to realize that her boyfriend is total trash. He just acts like a moron. When she was with Alex she was so kind. Now, all of a sudden she has this arrogant almost thotty type attitude like she’s some prize because of Jeremy:.. I would never go for someone like him and the fact she scooped him right up lol idk it’s weird especially with his history.
They were so awesome. Just for fun though, I kind wanted to see them against the other college male group. Would've been a hilarious battle. They're really fun B+
My thought watching this was they fill that same gap that the Tufts Beelzebubs, UO On The Rocks and Dartmouth Aires filled. A fun all-male college group. I love the Bubs and On The Rocks. These guys aren't there (yet)
Rushed the tempo a bit going into the second chorus..... I feel like that was a theme with many of the groups throughout this season, except for Home Free
This is where I live. I have been in that basket ball court. I have been to that university. And one them are coming to my school to here us sing "Old Kentucky Home" for Constitution day.
They stuck way to close to the original track for me to really get into this. If they were to have shown some originality I may have gotten more into it, but I found this performance a good time to take a bathroom break.
They remind me so much of On The Rock! They're at the same level as them; they're good, but they're the comedic relief of the competition and not real competitors
+Meliza_KG Well they were First talking about how they were really a close knit family and also mentioned that they are not only competing not only with the other groups but with Basketball as the biggest program in U of K. I live in Lexington and one of the group members is my teacher and while their silly and goofy, their not on the prowl for the next girl. Several members help us prepare for concerts and they aren't that way either. When it came to seranading girls, they were asked to sing to the winner of a beauty pagent and preformed. Singers are performers too. These guys are passionate about this kind of stuff and like to have fun with the music they love. That's it. *Shurg*
thechibiamerican It just seems like a poor song choice but then again it probably wasn't even their choice they probably were given a popular song that "suited their theme" to gain viewers. I didn't mean to bash on the guys personally I think it's just the nature of these shows they try to make each group fit a stereotype. They do come off as nice in the cheesy into video and the other songs there sounded nice.
+Meliza_KG Since I know one of the members well I'll ask if they did have a choice and I have a sneaking suspicion that they really didn't, as you said. I know the comment was kinda off handed so I can pass over the comment itself, but I think the only way to break the trope of the College a capella group is to come out and say these guys are professionals or becoming professionals. In fact, I think they started out with more choral work before the big A capella craze with Pitch Perfect and PTX.
When she said:"AcousticShower", the only thing I could think of was Jeremy and Kirstie doping nasty stuff in the shower. I think I may have a little problem...
+Ben Morris Yes! Home Free is as good as PTX but they appeal to a smaller societal/global segment and that is really a pain. Unfortunately pop rules and PTX fully milks that cow.

These guys reminded me so much of the Dartmouth Aires. The lead guy doesn't have quite the powerful voice that Michael of the Aires had but he makes up for it in his range. And the other lead has a great voice himself. I think they could go far

Aires were SO much better!!

Lol I only know this from the Weird Al parody about grammar 😂 very fun to hear it a cappella. I should probably listen to the original at some point…
Thank you for posting!!
These guys remind me of on the rocks ( season 2 )
Jeremy Michael Lewis.
this is fire #wildtill9’
I can't stop smiling. AHAHHAHA
The new "On the Rocks!"
Dat wink
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!
A capella is a special way to sing.
I have an Acousticrush........
ACOUSTICRUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3:25 was when I realized this was just too much
My AcoUstiKrush isn't even in the group at this point hahaha
I think the Judges are beginning to realise that they aren't getting a "Committed" or "Pentatonix" this year.
They stuck way to close to the original track for me to really get into this. If they were to have shown some originality I may have gotten more into it, but I found this performance a good time to take a bathroom break.
a shiver came down me wen the first guy started...AWESOME!!!!
Jo where did that Jeremy come from though
Is it just me or did the small part of I want it that way sound better than the performance? (Or maybe it's just cos I love that song haha)
I don't know if anyone noticed but there was one guy that was dedicated to Yaow!!!'s it was funny to me
Like if you heard it too.
JEREMY
do do do do do do dooooo do do do do do do doooooo do do do do do do do do do WILD TILL 9
They remind me so much of On The Rock! They're at the same level as them; they're good, but they're the comedic relief of the competition and not real competitors
JEREMYYY
Tell Kristin Maldonado listen
To birb line
Good Jeremy
They scored with the audience cos they aren't afraid to look silly.
Why this song? Anything but this song!! Jeez...
They just talked about charming college girls and being fratty then they went and sang a song about rape
+Meliza_KG Well they were First talking about how they were really a close knit family and also mentioned that they are not only competing not only with the other groups but with Basketball as the biggest program in U of K. +Meliza_KG Yeah I just asked and the song were stright out given. Groups had no choice in the matter.
epic
any wild til 9 fam here
They kinda reminds me of Dartmouth Aires
I thought the same lol.
Gotta admit tho, one lead has a pretty nice range, and the other lead had a very smooth controlled voice.
What's the first names and second names of the host plz tell me asap plz
Oh my gosh they were competing Filharmonics? What the
anyone else here from wild til 9? lol
I know one of the singers Hes my mums best friend he used to sing me to sleep

Im sorry, but I had to make this joke... ACOUSTIKATS? MORE LIKE APUSSYCATS! (I deeply apologize for that)
no group has ever been better than Committed
You haven't heard of Pentatonix?
misspretty301 um Pentatonix?
Try U of R Yellowjackets, Sing-Off season 3.
Or you could try Pentatonix. *gag*
How are they from the phillippines the host doesn't know what he's talking about
America your about to get your first AcoUsticrush *wink
me: im uncomfortable
This is so white... even the black guy
+toby maclean What does that even mean, man???? They sounded BES!
toby maclean That's rude. I know the black one, Mr. Wilbur, the best sub teacher ever.
When she said:"AcousticShower", the only thing I could think of was Jeremy and Kirstie doping nasty stuff in the shower. I think I may have a little problem...
they ruined this song soooooo bad
hear me out hear me out hear me out.... grey. sweatpant. wein.
I think the Judges are beginning to realise that they aren't getting a "Committed" or "Pentatonix" this year.
too bad...Pentatonix is a gem among other rocks..
I'd say that's a bit unfair to Home Free
+Ben Morris Yes! Home Free is as good as PTX but they appeal to a smaller societal/global segment and that is really a pain. Unfortunately pop rules and PTX fully milks that cow.
