The chain sprocket sheared its pin. The sprocket located closest to the center of the drill sheard off. The sprocket chains move like normal giving the illusion everything is working correctly but the pin is sheared and not driving the shaft. It isn't driven behind the wheel. It's driven on the other end.

Theres a clutch mechanism on each end of the rods that engages/disengages the chain sprocket and the gear sprocket

Thank you, I bought an 8300 drill and may use it to plant a few beans.

What row spacing are you using? What setting number are you on for soybeans? thanks, Eric

7.5 inch for small grains. 22.5 for soybeans even though this year all my beans were planted 36inch with planter. I’ll check my setting for beans. With a drill I try to seed 60-65lbs of beans per acre

Looks like you have sheared a pin in the drive mechanism

    Do you use press wheels?

There is a deal pin inside the hub it self to lock it in gear
