It’s a amazing that Burr didn’t do more comedy. He would have been great along with the other heretofore straight guys in the Naked Gun Series. Flip, of course, was always a delight. Both R.I.P!
Oh my! What a stitch. He does make a darn good Colonel Chicken. I haven't seen as much of his comedy as I would like-- another addition to my "to do list". First and foremost, however will be my love for him as Perry Mason and Ironside. He and Roy Roger's were my idols since childhood. He was one marvelous entertainer and the entertainment fields of today could do with another Raymond Burr!

I've seen Raymond Burr doing comedy and he had a knack for it. It's hard to believe he played Perry Mason so well but could also do comedy.
