⏰ 19:41 ❺ Have PATIENCE! There’s a lot of rinse and repeat involved

I'm 27 & I am currently in the process of another career switch... it's been a stressful ride, a lot of self judgement & uncertainty because I'm not sure exactly what I want to be doing & how well I fit in those roles. Since the pandemic, meditation, stress regulation, & self care has become my top priority... I'm a Taurus rising, we love pampering & relaxation lol. Watching this video, as you're explaining these things to consider, I never felt like I had to say "I can be open to that" or "hmmm idk about that but I can try". My work history, the parts of it I liked, & lifestyle allows me to feel like I may actually be a perfect fit for this. I think I'm signing up lol

For the past few days I have been under so much pressure mentally because i literally didn’t know what I wanted to do with myself one minute I wanted to be a nurse, then my passion for it just fade I realize I wanted to do something where as yes I can cater to people but like you said it would be in a more colorful, peaceful environment where as I could be versatile, vulnerable and creative. I am about starting esthetician school and I am super duper excited for this journey of mines. I’m a week away from getting my lash certificate and I can’t wait to start learning how to do facials, skin assessment etc 😊
I am in the same boat! im currently a college student studying business admin with a marketing emphasis but i really have been feeling like I would hate working a corporate job no matter how much I want to like it. I want to be able to work directly with people and be creative, and I have been researching the beauty industry and I am definitely interested :)
Oh my goodness I identity myself with you guys so many of my initial thoughts about school and degrees have me disillusioned and idk I feel like this would be a right fit for me too

If this isn’t me! My entire life I thought I wanted to be a nurse; became a Phlebotomist and then a ER patient care tech then in the ICU. I cried because I realized the healthcare field isn’t for me and it broke my heart cause I’m like how do I help people.! Then realizing I need to be more free and creative and that’s where I stumbled upon Esthetics. I’ll be starting in April.
@@Salema.k me too! I'm starting in April and I'm 35. It's never too late. I'm sure you'll realize in the future that the skills you learned from your healthcare experience will be ridiculously helpful. Maybe you'll notice a skin condition that you'll be able to recognize and help advise someone to seek medical attention with something that could have been serious

I’m a licensed nail tech right now, and my dream/goal is to expand in the beauty industry and become a licensed esthetician. I’m passionate about all things skincare and I want to give people facials(first and foremost), later makeup, later eyelash tint…maybe not the extension or the waxing. I don’t have the financial means right now, but I want to prep for it in the future. I’m willing to learn it all and find my niche. Thank you for making this video. So glad I found you ♥️

I’ve been working with special needs adults for 12 years. I’ve applied Person Centered approaches to all my clients, multitasking and have become resilient. I’m in the process of taking my Theory for the second time. I’m waiting on my practical results but felt pretty good about it. Your channel is what inspired me and helped me evolve into the Beauty Industry. 💜💜💜

@@DreamDesireLove both! I have autism myself and would love to create an inclusive salon when I’m done studying! I have a degree in teaching and I have learned a lot in teaching special needs kids but I’d love to create an environment where special needs adults also can thrive as I know how hard it can be to go to a salon that fits our needs!
@@peanutbrittle99 that would be so amazing! Building an inclusive salon would open many opportunities to that population. I have worked with clients to help them in the homes, community and currently a job developer for them. There may be local agencies in your area that do that work. If you have your teaching license, perhaps you can open your own business someday :)
Six minutes in and girl WE ARE ON THE SAME PAGE I LITERALLY COULD NOT HANDLE IT !! I love that we have the same though process it’s really eye opening to me to start esthetician school, I talked to my counselor today and I had scheduled a tour for tomorrow !!

Believe it or not I have been a nurse for many years, dealing with far too many bodily fluids and whatnot, and I just really need a career change and I believe that becoming an esthetician is perfect for me as I love helping people to feel, and look, their absolute best! I like most of your videos, except for this one. Just bc a person has an upbeat personality doesn't mean that they can't be an Esthetician. And not everyone has to sell products. Not every Esthetician is going to work at that type of setting.

I am a cosmetologist wanting to aim more towards esthetician. I would love to find out how to get some education as a refresher and more in depth training g to become a GREAT esthetician.
More than anything this is what I want to do, but I am on my own and have to for to make a living. This has made any program impossible schedulewise while still making enough to live on. Plz pray I will find a way

I am 35 and it’s been years I couldn’t decide what I want do I am a mother of 4 kids and it’s way harder to decide currently cuz kids are little and it’s hard take regular schedule of usual careers 8 to 5 and left medical field after finishing school for the same reason however I like beauty and can’t decide between cosmo and Esthitican I really need an honest advice . What would you do if you see me ? Plus my income is low currently and look foward to build a better financial life for my kids !!!!! Please help me with any word !

Hello - I'm from Ontario aswell , and I looked into any college or local beauty bars - trillium college has a fast tract esthetician & spa operations certificate in 11 months instead of 2 years at a major name college 😊 , hope this helps - good luck!
