    Guys, if ur foreskin is hard to retract it’s NOT necessary for surgery, I had this problem a couple months ago at age 16 and I was scared too. U gotta have the courage to speak up and tell ur parents even if it doesn’t sound right, they won’t care and will listen trust me. What I recommend is going to the doctor and getting the ointment cream they suggest. Also applying Organic coconut oil helps ALOT. I did it while showering with warm water and pulled it back slowly and slowly with the oil. Then applied the ointment cream after showering and pulled it back as far as I can. Eventually I was able to pull it back all the way. Yes it will hurt at first, but it takes some courage to get it done so don’t be scared! Do this for as long as u need and u will see results. I was so close from telling my doctor to get me circumcised bc of all the ppl saying it’s better here and that but what they don’t tell u is the side affects it brings. I thank my mom a lot for supporting me. Hopes this helps and gets to anyone that needs help

    I was diagnosed with phimosis at the age of 10, and was given an overly aggressive circumcision, which took most of my penile skin, resulting in a lifetime of painful erections, skin tears, bleeding, and scarring. I’m 61 years old now. I wish we would’ve tried other treatments for the phimosis in 1972. After the surgery, I was shocked how bruised it looked and was in much pain for a long time as the sutures dissolved. I became a very insecure child and suffered from PTSD. I wish I was given a choice.

      Look into non-surgical foreskin restoration. It's a real option. Some methods, like something called T-tape, can be used with very little skin. I know that. Because(so far) I've grown enough skin to effectively change my aggressive circumcision (from infancy) into a noticeably looser one. Life changing difference, and I don't have anything CLOSE to a proper foreskin yet!

      @Jayson Argonaut I had some good progress in my early 40s as a beginner in foreskin restoration but I gave it up in frustration since it took so long. Im glad you credited forced retraction to causing phimosis later in life. So often I see parents of intact children who have recurrent infections and issues and when I ask, it turns out they've been forcibly retracting them to clean the whole time. The average age of retraction is actually 10 1/2, with a range of normal from toddler age to early adulthood. Inability to retract is not a medical emergency if there is no infection or other issue present.

    • @HumanStructureVideos
      @HumanStructureVideos ปีที่แล้ว

      The most dangerous misinformation conveyed in this video is that full retraction of the penis is due by age 7 (implied in the video to novice listeners and a lie) and the lack of praise of the flexibility of the foreskin. Also the lie that massive soap and chemical (as she puts it) "cleaning" is good (and her circumcision focus). Beware of the medical professionals who are secret members of the male genital mutilation army and lobby. They have their biases written by proMGM authors.

    I tried explaining this to my kids when they were younger about 7 and 9 but was highly awkward in some ways. Found out that the best way ti show them was by placing a sock over my hand and rolling it up to look like the foreskin area. It was a practical way to show them how to clean that area. I did not know if this until I was 17!?! Wish someone explained it to me when I was a kid.

    • @July-A7
      @July-A7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      I don't have this problem. I talk to my kids directly, using the proper words, showing on real bodies. They have been washing their genitals since they started washing their whole bodies by themselves. Prior to this we, the parents, washed them, including their private parts.
      Nothing embarrassing here. It's nature.

    I am 29 and had a circumcision 6 months ago. I suffered from phimosis which meant I couldn’t retract my foreskin at all. I knew something wasn’t right for years but out of embarrassment I didn’t get it looked at until last year. There was sensitivity after the operation, however the pain was not too bad really.
    The difficulty was keeping the wound dry and just looking after it properly with bandages and there was some bleeding from stitches following erections before the stitches healed fully. I was back at in the office the next day, in the gym a week after and running/playing competitive sport 3 weeks after. I have found the sensitivity is improved, sex feels 10 x better and it is also much more hygienic.
    With phimosis I found some dripping after urinating which has also totally been resolved.
    In short, don’t worry if you need a circumcision, there is nothing to be embarrassed about and you will be much happier after getting it sorted. I just wish I would’ve done it sooner.
    It took about a week before it eased any noticeable amount but even then it was still sensitive. In the first few days I kept the bandage on and wore loose fitting clothes. When the bandage the doctor put on came off I began applying a bandage myself every morning to stop it rubbing in my underwear and then slept naked to get used to it rubbing against bed sheets etc as I was sleeping.

    *You (usually) don't chop somebody's head off to "treat" a reoccurring headache.* There are various incision techniques that work well in most cases and that mean that the patient will keep the nerve endings in the inner prepuce that are a key stimulus necessary to orgasm. What gets frequently overlooked , is the fact that with age, as testosterone levels decrease, erections will get weaker and medications to reduce blood pressure will often impair the ability to reach an orgasm, requiring longer and stronger (mechanical) stimuli during sex. As standard ("efficient") circumcision techniques usually reduce the number of penile nerve endings quite drastically, this can lead to significant and very unnecessary problems later in life.

I can remember how showers and oil and small pain gains and the white heads would pop out show long lines of separation vertically. It was a strange 15 years to say the least. But now at 34 I have been sexually inactive for well over a year and my fore skin and line under the hole get tight and my last sexual encounter about 1 cm of skin split pretty deeply right on the skin line under my penis hole. Like the skin is holding the size of my penis and sooo painful. What should I do?

      If you decide to get circumcised one thing is do your research and talk to your doctor about the circumcision style. I've known a few men who got cut as adults and I can say this: Preserving as much as possible of you inner foreskin is key. And beware the butterfly cut or V flap that many doctors will automatically do without even mentioning it! It involves removing most of the inner foreskin on the underside and removing the frenulum.
      Most important, is to make sure you are truly on the same page as your doctor before processing! Men who have done this and gotten a relatively tight circumcision but one that preserved a significant amount of inner foreskin and with a circular line (no v flap) and kept their frenulum have had good satisfaction. This most resembles the typical man circumcised in infancy (though that also varies). This can require more skill and be more expensive, and may take doing more interviews before finding the right doctor.
      As for the others who lost their frenulum, especially with a V flap procedure, sometimes not so much satisfaction is left for them! So a word of warning. Ultimately, best advice is plan well, research, talk and make sure you are on the same page FIRST! Proceed with caution.

    • @jKLa
      @jKLa 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Remember that most of the sensitivity is in the inner foreskin not the glans. Even for circumcised men like me most of our sensation is in the residual inner foreskin between the scar line and glans (which is effectively part of my shaft skin) which most infant circumcision leaves more then enough of, but which too many adult circumcisions remove too much of for adequate sensation. Take care!

    betamethasone ointment is the topical steroid of choice when you are trying to stretch the phimotic band. it has fallen out of favor by dermatoligists because it brakes down the matrix of the skin more so than other topical steroids. but in this case, that is ecactly what you want ! if u try a stretching reutine , its important proceed slowliy and gentle . because ir you damage or tear thr foreskin while trying to stretch it. the skin will reflexively contact, making ithe problem worse.

    I did not have sex for several years and recently was found to have a cystic prolactinoma. I was started on treatment which included testosterone gel and other meds as well. I am doing well now but the problem I have is that the foreskin now covered most of the glans. I have been able to retract significantly but not to expose the glans completely like before. I will be seeing my urologist in two months. What do you suggest?

    Whether circumcision is good or bad for infant males is beside the point. It is an "optional" procedure done without the patient's permission. If an adult male decides to get circumcised, fine.

    • @brandonross8200

      @@balancedactguy because a lot of us have had a removed at birth without our consent and would like to have a penis as close to how nature intended as possible. And there's actual benefits to having a foreskin. Contrary to popular belief it is actually more than just 'extra skin' foreskin exist to protect the glans as well as add an extra form of motion during intercourse. It also has lots of nerve endings. A lot people even doctors will tell you the foreskin is just extra skin but honestly some people even in their own field don't know what they are talking about. I'm not a medical professional so I'm not claiming to know more but I can read facts and have some sense. If your body is born with something it probably has a purpose whether that something you know now or will find out later.

      @@brandonross8200 According to the last time I looked the World Health Organization" could not come up with a consensus as to the function of the Foreskin. There are documented BENEFITS of being circumcised (as I am and most any guy I ever knew) Plenty of babies being born with Daddies who were circumcised and sex feel JUST FINE without it. "I don't see how "Restoring" it is going to bring back ANY nerve endings that would be necessary to increase sensitivity. My Father was circumcised at age about 37...never heard him say he missed anything about it and he experienced life, as an adult, WITH and WITHOUT a Foreskin. I cannot understand how this topic gets SO MUCH attention about an insignificant pice of skin the function of which isn't even clear and has NO bearing on the future success of the Baby it's removed from.

    • @gymrat3203

      I doubt that she would do a video on foreskin restoration since it is not something that is medically accepted. I understand your feelings regarding your circumcision since I too also had it done without my consent. It caused some problems between my mother and I when I confronted her. Once she realized the horrors of her actions and asked forgiveness I let it go...but I'll never forget. My sons are intact since I protected them from the medical fraud of cutting part of their penis off. In my opinion foreskin restoration is a waste of time since you really are just stretching shaft skin to create a faux foreskin. The nerves, oil glands, mucous tissue etc., have been amputated and can not be regrown. "Foreskin Restoration" is more about between your ears then your legs. Neonatal circumcision is a crime that needs to stop. Personally I can't fathom why any doctor would remove healthy tissue on a infant. It is in complete violation of the hippocratic oath. It is nothing more then some barbaric, savage, blood ritual that doctors perform on a new human. it belongs in the history books and not in a modern day hospital.

      @@gymrat3203 What are the "Horrors" of Circumcision?? I'm circumcised as are my Brothers and my cousins and most any guy I grew up with. My two Nephews and my two Great-Nephews are also, who are two very Happy and Smart Toddlers who will be as successful as their Circumcised Daddy. Kids spend the first few years of their lives submitting to things without their consent. So what is losing an insignificant pice of skin so "horrible"? It plays NO ROLE in being Happy and Successful in life, unless one turn it into some " tragedy"...in their own mind.
