    Accurate. I was in Bali recently and was impressed by the variety of gyms and restaurants.

    As an Indonesian, I was a little shocked. Find out the amount of your living expenses in Bali for a month. $3,265 is the equivalent of my salary working for 10 months. OMG.😮😮😮

    • @tjandbtraveling
      @tjandbtraveling  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      To be fair, it was more expensive than I thought too… Where do you live in Indonesia? I’m sure if we’d have cooked, had longer term rent and not gone to fancy gyms then it would drop right down low. But most things we did were not even close to the most expensive options

      @@tjandbtraveling i live in west java, specifically in cirebon. What you saya is true. It all depends on lifestyle choices.
      Do you know the minimum wage for work in cirebon? $150 a month. And the minimum wage for work in bali is around $180. Based on data from the government.
      Thats why i was shocked when i found out your monthly expenses. Hahah

    Everyone travels differently and tge most important is that you enjoyed. This was helpful but the total was definitely more than I would have thought. There are places I know Id be less than you all but also likely places Id be more. So again, I think it is about what works for each person.

    May I ask.. Do you have a home base? Or are you completely living out of your travel packs? Is youtube your source of income, or what do you do to have this lifestyle? -I want to do this myself (slow-nomad) but do not know how or where to start. I would appreciate any advice.

      Of course you can ask. We answer some of these questions here. th-cam.com/video/dfcZe11hPAc/w-d-xo.html but yea we essentially live out of 2 suitcases and 2 heavy carry-ons.
      You should totally travel and go for it

      Hello! We used to use two different companies.
      - Balanced Lane: offers super healthy meals that are not only cost-effective but are also super filling with lower calories. Plus, they change their menu every week to offer you a variety of options. You can check out their Instagram page instagram.com/balanced.lane.bali/ for more details.
      - Solimans: might be a bit more expensive with smaller portions and higher in calories, but they offer more westernized meals such as pancakes and burritos. You can find them on Instagram at instagram.com/the_solimans/
      Both were great. But often than not we will order Balanced Lane.

    Spending a $1000 a month between groceries, restaurants and food prep services is an active way to spend money.. I dont spend that much in America... You definitely love food.. All good, just interesting. looks like delicious options..

      We love food. As athletes, we need to consume a substantial amount of it. TJ, for instance, eats twice as much as I do. It's as if we're eating for three people! haha thanks for commenting 😊
