For me it's Mousehole, and Newlyn. Lots of family holidays pretty much every year from 1979 to 1988. So happy childhood memories. Lots of history there not to mention many a brave soul lived there too. Respect.
all of them .i lived in cornwall but work took us back to Birmingham .i miss it so ,much. it breaks my heart now at 80 icant get back.the same for my 2 boys who went to school there they miss it as wel.l
It is staggering Fowey is not in your top 5! A truly beautiful place. Given it's not, I cannot take this list seriously. St Ives is nice, but it's just ridiculously busy. Padstow is the most overrated. Falmouth is lovely.
Just been to Cornwall August 2023 , i agree St Ives probably No 1 but i can't believe you've not included Mousehole or Fowey they're stunningly Beautiful ? As for Looe got disagree I was very disappointed in it, not the childhood memory I once had.

I’m off down to Cornwall in a few days for a short break…staying in a guest house in Mevagissey…can’t wait 👍😎
Sounds lovely hope you have a great time!
Love cornwall and loved the way this was filmed ...... can’t wait to return 👍👍❤️
My great grandparents came to Australia from Cornwall. What a beautiful place. Hope to visit one day.

@@mjh5437 No they were not criminals.

Beautiful, but as an ex resident of Nanpean I'm very surprised not to see it here!
Don't for get the quaint village of foxhole
St Ives is not a village, it's a town!!
Mevagissey, Mousehole???
Polperro and Padstow
No Fowey, Porthleven, Mevagissey, or Boscastle? Interesting choice?!
Fowey and Boscastle would be high on my list too ☀️
@@CapturingTheCountryside Fowey no. 1 for me. A little known hamlet called Portloo is amazing,
@@mark_lhr3 I’m not far from there this week ! I’ll have a look. Thank you
Sorry the music is off putting. I cannot watch this because of the music, what is in the picture does not need more music.
Us locals avoid most of these places in the summer as you can't move for emits.
true but their money keep us going
Praa Sands every time.
No Looe? Disgraceful.
A double A in Port Isaac .... not a double S.
Thank you and apologies for the typo
St Just in Roseland and St Ives are the best
Carlyon Bay
Anyone here after G7
It’s a pity the the God awful soundtrack didn’t match the beautiful villages. Couldn’t bear to listen past the into!
I just turned the sound off and watched the beautiful scenery
As beautiful as it is it's not a village St.Ives. Padstow too.
I agree St Ives is more of a town than a village. I used to live in St Mawes and is far more beautiful then Padstow.
St Ives is not a village
Polperro ,avoid the carpark absolute ripoff !
as all are ,,,you can park on my drive in Hayle
