What great words, Carlitos..Thank you....I was fortunate enough to be at a few of Chick's "Mad Hatter East" 'get togethers'- one w Stanley, one W Gadd and a couple just with him n Gayle....What BEAUTIFUL people they were (Chick n Gayle,...)....ps- he obviously mentioned you a few times at these get togethers......Coincedentaly , this weekend I'm doing a couple of shows at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday- that's where I met and played w Chick a few years ago...(we did a 17 minute version of "Spain" w him...lol...)
@@davidreinhardt4991 FANTASTIC... my friend... sending you hugs...
I saw Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke in the late 70s . They were incredible. I loved Return to Forever.
I used to listen to Al Di Meola as well. Gosh.
Great work Tom, very cool, Chick Corea is already a living legend
Hi Tom. Great interview! Great job of asking great and rarely asked questions to Chick, so kudos to you! Tom, Chick misspoke regarding the timeline of forming the Elektric Band. The Elektric Band was formed in 1985 not 1983.
Thanks Tom for such a wonderful interview of The Master and great human being
That looks like the last interview before his passing. 4 months before, he was doing so well, it's shocking, how fast his illness progressed. Rip master.
Yeah....how sad....
He had pancreatic for awhile, bro. He had that look that all cancer people have before they die. Chick really tried to make it work before he couldn't do it anymore. RIP, man.
@@J3unG Did he died from pancreatic cancer ? 😮
@@DihelsonMendonca.....they never say it was pancreatic....they did mention some type of cancer
Esta clace de músicos deberían tener todos los likes del universo 👍
A very good interview Interview Tom. thank you
Awesome talk! So glad to hear Chick's words, he is such an inspiration for me. I love his music and I really wish I had known it way before he past away.
What a great interview.
Oh yeah just link. Interesting how to talks about the expense of being a musician is also being in an entertainer means really communicating to the audience
Genio!
RIP Chick, man.
Chick is so thin here. Sad, RIP to one of the best of all time....
