I don’t understand how so many people are willing to give him a pass just because he finally admitted to his lies, & because they don’t see through the very transparent way he’s now using mental health issues as a cover excuse to justify why he lied. Yeah I think the biggest problem with liver king isn’t that he lied about being on steroids, it’s the idea that someone who looked like him should be considered healthy.
Even without steroids, a body that works out 3-4 hours a day and is at 5% body fat (which is what is necessary for most people to just have visible abdominal muscles) is not a healthy body.

What irks me most about his "apology" is that he says he wanted to help young men with depression and feeling lost. But he is part of the reason why many feel depressed and lost. They way he sets unrealistic standards for what's achieveable by working on yourself is what drives many people to give up on their gym pursuits. He is literally part of the problem, not the solution and now that he's caught he's trying to absolve himself of any wrong doing by bringing attention to a serious issue that he clearly cares nothing about. If he actually wanted to help people, there would have been nothing stopping him from putting his message out while being natural. But he didn't want that. He wanted to stroke his own ego and make as much money as possible. Anyone still following him earnestly is willfully ignorant. He should have never been given a pass for what he did.

He once referred to us suffering from depression anxiety and thoughts of suicide as “pussies” before he threw us under the bus at his first convenience.
He’s trying to sell this like there was no forced intervention. He wants everyone to believe he’s just AUTOMAGICALLY embraced recovery. His hand was forced. Those of us in recovery know who relapses…often. You can’t make another person love themselves.
The only person that can change the addict’s mind is the addict themselves. Those who do actually get clean/sober and make changes on their own volition generally succeed. This is why I have little faith in Brian Johnson’s claims of being happy about being called out on his lie due to his reaction, and how he’s toes the company’s brand since.
I don’t care about his 9 tenets or “core message.”
I’m interested in what this self proclaimed example-to-be-followed does now. What message does his actions send? 🤷🏻‍♂️
This dude is obviously addicted to working out.

You know, any idiot can lie and double down on it when called out. Lying is such an easy way out in life, people understimate how much you can get away by just lying through your teeth and NEVER admit to being wrong. I learned to give much more respect to people who are courageous enough to swallow their pride and actually take responsibility for their mistakes. It sounds simple, but this is something a very small minorty of people have the guts and the confidence in themselves to do. It is not the case of the Brian, his attitude here is akin to a kid. Dude can brag about being the epitome of masculinity but it became clear as day that mentally he is a little boy, a weak and insecure kid in all but appearance.
Never judge people by what they say, only judge people by what they do.
