I'm a 26 y/o girl preparing for CA Final right now. I'm also in a relationship from last 4 years. Recently some of my close relatives visited my place and they eventually started talking about my marriage. One of my cousin brother told my mom that there's this guy who works at my office and he's a CA, from a decent family, and stuff. Also, I already have someone in my life which my family isn't aware of due to my exams and all. How to deal with all this?

Take few deep breaths. See it as it is. You don't want marriage you have your own plans be firm with it and tell you parents. Lot of men are loosing their resources and properties because of these gynocentric judgments made by the court system, not just in India but everywhere. Kolkata govt passed a judgment that even if the woman conceives a child from another man through infidelity or before marriage and deceives the man by not telling him. Even if the child is not his , even proven through dna test, he is still obligated for child support of that kid. How dumb the laws have to be. Also men in India don't even have a right to protect them against DV, mental, sexual abuse, financial abuse from their wives. Men cannot claim wife's ancestral property but she can claim his. Change Alimony and divorce laws in India.
Divorce laws came because some idiot thought, it's the man's fault and he should be punished after a breakdown of marriage.
Back then in ancient times they used to beat the men (who wanted divorce) and forcefully made them pay alimony.
Slowly that became a law. And our law makers just copied that law from West like our filmmakers copied slow motion from Matrix movie.
The best idea is to rethink the law. When Bill gates started looking into philanthropy, his task was to provide poor countries sanitization, access to toilet etc. He understood that building huge pipelines, sewage treatment plans are extremely costly and not possible. So he said, we need to reinvent the toilet. Next thing he did was investing in several ideas and came up with toilet that uses laser to destroy human waste after it enters the toilet. It doesn't need expensive pipelines. So, a lot of infrastructure cost is reduced.
Similary, our law makers need to think like bill gates and rethink the divorce law.
For example, there could be like an insurance type of payment taken from everyone. Let's say Rs. 50 per month. If 150 crore people pay Rs. 50 monthly, it'll ammount to 90000 crore.
Now a few will get divorce, and the government can pay alimony instead of the man.

The main issue is that my life was going well until 2018. In November of that year, an unexpected incident occurred in my life, resulting in an 'error' in 2019. I have tried many times to resolve this issue, but I haven't been able to so far. Solving this error is very difficult and might take a lot of time. It's something that without resolving, moving forward in life seems inappropriate because it is an 'error'. Yet, if I try to continue working or move forward in life, I will have to do so with this error.
