Thanks! Haven't tried making the other character swords yet. Might make rengoku's sometime this yr for his cosplay. In theory you should be able to make the other swords with this method but make sure to also include the decorative piece dividing the blade and hilt.
A tip about the frayed edges, you can use a candle to burn those edges to lock them but burning too much can cause them to look bad and may harden the edges causing uncomfortable grips. But I suggest tucking the edges as with frayed edges exposed openly can cause the cloth to break bit by bit, based from my experiences with working with cloth. I love your work :) keep it up.

Thank to your previous tutorial, I'm halfway done with the head ^ ^. I'm posting it on my intsa when it's 100% done! ( Not trying to plug lol) I honestly thank you for the bottom of my heart for this tutorial as well!
I was never aware there would be wood available as thin as those(aside from plywood) . Or probably it's just not available in my place. Alternate materials could be sintra/PVC board. It is available in school supply stores from where I'm at. Its thickness varies from 2mm-16mm. I'be also used cast acrylic sheets but for my Zenitsu's nichirin(@nananiuwhi) . It needs an acrylic cutter(about3$) that makes it easy to cut incase you dont have powertools. These two are a bit more flexible and sturdy than wood even when i made them just about 8mm thick. I made my first Zenitsu's nichirin out of wood and resin but it snapped when it accidentally fell.
In both of these videos you've used techniques I hadn't even contemplated could've existed that would've made some of my attempted projects so much easier, well done 👍👏👏👏👏👏
Instead of waiting for the sheath to eventually mold into the shape of the sword, you can just use a hair dryer (since you don't have power tools like a heat gun) to heat up the foam and shape it, once it cools off, the shape should stay!

here's a tip ! you can use sandpaper to sand down rough edges ! make sure you have a mask to wear while sanding in order to not breathe in the particles coming off the boards .
