Dude the internet is essentially "Tim Henson Tim Henson guitar god" and yes -- they're right. But as all things in the world, you cannot have Polyphia (poly -- having many sides, etc.) without the many dimensions of the music. Drums and bass are an essential part of that. It's so nice to listen to this and be able to focus on your element of the music because it holds it all together and gives it all a backbone. Good stuff man.
Clay aeschliman is just a talented man as Tim, and just as Tim’s style is hard to replicate and he is a key component to polyphia so seeing a cover of him is just as cool but underappreciated
Holy shit those toms and the snare fucking pop dude, they sound perfect. I wish the cymbals were tighter and less open, I feel like there was a huge contrast between them is all.
