60 Second Review: Bauer / Harbor Freight 20V Cordless 3.5 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum

We recently picked up the Bauer 20V Cordless Vacuum (SKU/item # 58310), which appears to be the most compact wet/dry vac that Harbor Freight sells. Does it have enough suction to get the job done? It is worth its current price of $49? Maybe is the short answer. Watch the video to get our take.

I bought one of these Bauer 20v vacuums, and I rarely use my 8 gallon Ridgid shop vac anymore. The Ridgid is more powerful, but the Bauer is strong enough and the convenience and mobility of the battery pack cannot be overstated. It had no problem sucking up some staples and small nails from a toolbox drawer. I already had a few 5ah batteries from other Bauer tools, so that worked out well. The only thing I’d like to see is a long solid wand with it to reach under my workbench, etc. I may have to buy one or fashion one myself.
