You gotta understand that when she was playing that Russian kid, Geordi or whatever, they resigned after what, five hours? The board was decimated and the variables had been whittled down. She had a tremendous advantage because of that whirring convoluted thing in her skull. She had played out all the permutations in her head because she was simply that much of a brainiac. Just like when she played all those high school kids she had all her counters set up in her brain in advance. That's why she was so abrupt and dismissive and seemingly, disrespectful. She'd already played the game. His moves were incidental to the outcome. She'd been so frustrated by a kid taking her the distance that she wasn't going to allow that shit to continue. It was over the night before. The resumption of the game was a mere formality.
