too many foreigners are flocking to Bali and with the mass congregation, it's flipping the culture, residential scenes and different scenes and what we knew of Bali will soon become very diluted and overrun by caucasians

the world is entering into strange unfamiliar worrying territory. inflation is out of control. homelessness even in a rich nation like America is rampant, and that same thing is starting to appear in Australia. rent in Australia has literally skyrocked. Approx USD 550 per week and this is payable from your after tax wages. Even well paid professionals are struggling. things are not right.

Well the Ukraine war happened, there are lots of displaced Ukrainians who went to Bali. Then there are also scores of people who got shafted by Malaysia's changes in the retirement visa. Of course there are more people who became digital nomads after Covid + the passport bros looking for brides.

Singapore ruling party only interested in money coming from North Asia, and they show no interest in controlling the real estate and rental prices as they make easy money from all the fees, charges, taxes and GST collected with minimum or no effort.

@@lukeh3020 Exactly! U are absolutely right! To be super honest like i said in 1 of Georgia's previous video i think landlords should be CONSIDERATE towards their tenants SEEING how much their tenants EARNS before they want to put up a certain amount of rent! Then this is FAIR! Landlords should ASK how much their tenants earn per month so that they know whether if that particular tenant can afford to pay the rental fees that they are asking for. I am very sorry people for being so direct.

I am sorry but your take is rather ignorant as if landlords dont hv mortgages n expenses to maintain the property. If it were not for landlords you would hv no place to rent to begin with. Maybe instead of blaming landlords, start acknowledging that times are different now? In sg, you would hv a shoebox for 3000. In bali you get a vila.
