to win a championship you need more than anything a very clear mind to understand exactly when is the moment to be aggressive, when is the moment to be calculative, when is the moment to give everything you have, when is the moment to hold everything you have for another opportunity. That’s the difference between winning and losing... Ayrton Senna
sillver0100 Yeah man but why is it that you do not mention that Prost rammed him first the year before? I mean, this is the only part that annoys me when people mention that incident out of context. I dont know if you were around watching it back then, but that rivalry (which for me was the most intense I have ever seen in any sport) built up over a couple of years, with numerous incidents and lots of bad blood... Prost felt he was being bullied and finally he took out Ayrton in 89 (albeit very gently). In 90 Ayrton returned the favour. None of it was "right" in terms of sportsmanship and so on... but you have to put it all in context.
sillver0100 senna and prost were a great rivality and no matter what happened in 1989 or 1990, they are both part of the history like schumacher or fangio and that is the most important
F1 parity is dead. The sport is too expensive for anyone to catch up the R&D of the top 3 teams. Even if a team like McLaren or Aston Martin could get the funds to be able to genuinely compete with Ferrari, Red Bull, or Mercedes, they couldn't spend it because of the budget cap.
@@napalmpudding What do you mean "is dead"? This has always been the case! It is only now that there is a maximum limit to the budget! Before that the top teams could heavily outspend everyone else! Just look at Ferrari in the 2000s and McLaren and Williams... Spending so many millions!!! And you tell me 'parity is dead'? Do not be silly!!!!!
At 3:17 (Insert James Hunt commentating at the Monaco Gran Prix 1984) "I think we are watching the arrival of Ayrton Senna." RIP to all the great champions!!

Proud to say that my F1-era, the time that captivated me, also is the best part of this video: 3:55 - 4:32. Schumacher vs Hakkinen. That was Formula 1 for me. It isn't the same anymore.
You know why that was? Schumi and Mika had so much respect for each other, and that's what made their battles epic. Both of them were so good and you knew that they would never hit each other. It's sad that those days are gone, F1 got screwed when Pirelli tyres, DRS and all that **** were introduced a few years ago. Battles where the fastest guy wins like with Schumi and Mika never occur these days, now it's just the guy who can manage his tyres and make good use of the DRS who wins... and then you have one of the best drivers of the pack (Vettel) in the best car by far, which makes it boring as well...
Goosebumps dude, just bloody goosebumps! Specially at the part when Ayrton Senna is speaking and also when Vettels engeneers say: "Du bist Weltmeister". Just shaked inside so much. Nice work once again, Antti. Well done.
Emerson Fittipaldi deserved more respect. Someone who won a F1 race in his very first year and became the youngest driver to be a world champion in 1972 (a record that remained for 30 years). Who survived and succeed in the most dangerous era, who could get at least 2 more titles (but preferred to leave McLaren for developing for the first time a Brazilian team), then, went to America and won 2 x the Indianapolis 500 + won the title of Formula Indy, always being competitive and racing for the first places until the age of 50 (!). What a career, what a true racer, legend.
Best F1 tribute ever. Thanks so much for sharing your passion with others passionate about F1, its beautiful history, and the champions we all cherish!
Thanks so much, Antti. Tears in my eyes, and the engine sound in the last seconds of the video completely did me in. Your videos really capture the reason why we race - to feel the pure essence of life and all its emotions.
Antti! You - a miracle! I just love your videos, watch them with such pleasure, with which not watch any videos! This is - the next is your creation, which just can not leave you indifferent! You forced me to the end of the video to let a tear ... worthy of respect!
Thanks a lot once again. It's pleasure to watch footage of F1 from its beginning to nowadays. The guys who raced before 1994 were real heroes. Cars and regulations were so dangerous back then.
I just discovered this channel today. You’ve got some very good stuff here! I look forward to watching many more of them. Even the music is good. Which is often rare. Keep up the great work mate!👍🏻
Joder Antti, el final es apoteósico. Me has echo llorar. Tus vídeos son los mejores de la red sobre competición. Eternas gracias por estos tesoros. No lo dejes nunca...!

Major thumbs up for not only including but starting with the great Fangio. ...And I never thought I'd say this, but watch Schumi was bittersweet. He maybe an arrogant jerk of a person, but I wouldn't wish his current situation on anyone.
WOW!!! What do I have to do to give it a x1000 likes!! I have already seen it two times in a row but I would even see it non-stop. I love this sport sooo much!!!
I was thrilled the moment I saw an Antti video! Brilliant as always, please. please. please make one for the WRC, I know all the rest, but you could make one about the retirement of Loeb, 9 years of perfection or something, he is a giant and you are just the bard to tell his story...

Ayrton Senna
I guess the moment to give everything you have was to ram into Prost.
sillver0100
ah a prost fanboy who can't see the truth
Fone The truth is that I am not a Prost fanboy and that Senna admitted to ramming into him.

It's incredible that this video was Made in 2012 and there were only 3 different champions since
True, maybe this year we will see a new WDC
