  • Which one to use?
    * Calling someone by phone and calling someone by name.
    * To call someone by name (TAWAGIN)
    Ex. Call Anna. She's in the kitchen.
    (TAWAGIN mo si Anna. Nasa kusina siya.)
    Response:
    Ok. I'm going to call Anna.
    (Ok. TATAWAGIN ko si Anna.)
    * (Present tense)
    = TINATAWAG ko si Anna.
    * (Past tense)
    = TINAWAG ko si Anna.
    * To call someone by phone. (TAWAGAN)
    Ex. Here's the phone. Call Anna.
    (Here's the phone. TAWAGAN mo si Anna.)
    * (Present tense)
    = TINATAWAGAN ko si Anna.
    * (Past tense)
    = TINAWAGAN ko si Anna.

    Very nice and clear videos. Maraming salamat titser! My questions: how about the expression "calling names" i.e. when disrespecting someone. They call him "the comedian". Thanks in advance.
