Dayum she so cute, the way she talks, I can listen to her for hours 😂 Why I'm here :: I'm aspiring product manager, researching about which platform creator use for courses
Hi Christina, Great content and very honest review. Good insight to set your expectations right in the content creations initially. What about making the content on TH-cam? Have you tried that?
I am an instructor and I did not signup for promotional when creating the course, but Udemy automatically says channel: Udemy promotion. I get 37% of the course price after tax, conversion fee which is significantly less. Please advise if you have any suggestions. For $19.99 I received $7 and if someone buys in Euro, I get $4 which does sound pretty low.
How many accounts can someone have on skillshare? Like someone wanting to have 1 for cooking and the other for video editing, since niching down matters...
After comparing Skillshare and Udemy I have come to the conclusion that Skillshare has nothing more to offer that Udemy does not. Most courses on Skillshare are on Udemy and are paid once and you have full access for life. Whereas with Skillshare you have to subscribe yearly. Skillshare creates an impression of have a certain quality but blocks you from previewing courses. Most courses are mediocre and do not give high quality information.
Has both the platforms been promoting your courses now? Just want to make my own course and I am not sure if I should self host or put it up on a marketplace.
Skillshare no longer pays per minutes watched; can you make a video about how Skillshare pays now and if is worth to post our courses on their platform?
awesome girl! Thanks for your video and honesty❤
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed this video
What's an update on this, please? Which brings you more money now?
Thanks alot for this video. Yes we really need your next video for selling your course to your own Email List.

I'm not sure but I assume you can if it's under two different brand names
Thanks for sharing your experience
You said teachable or what? The second platform; I couldn’t hear it correctly
Thanks

I’m still getting organic views and purchases every month but revenue is not as high now that I’m not actively promoting them on social media

I don't know if it's worth an entire video but I can definitely say Skillshare doesn't pay a lot unless you're a big time influencer already
What about make your courses in your own website ?
I’m about to release a video about it. Make sure to subscribe :)
Can you please create a new income report on udemy and skillshare?
I’m working on it. Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the video
