German and Swedish washing machine brands are known for the quality of their products, we call it Deutsch qualität or German quality (German brands) or Scandinavian quality (Swedish brands) if you prefer like miele, Bosch, Siemens Neff, gaggenau AEG, ASKO etc.
these models of washing machines are extremely difficult to find unless you buy it used in its original condition but the iSensoric are easier to find whether in stores or second hand
There are also brands of Swiss washing machines which are also known for their manufacturing quality, we call it Swiss made or Swiss manufacturing if you prefer, we have examples like V-ZUG, Schulthess etc.
Got this in a 1400 spin model £900 in 2004 a lot of money but the tech was a head of its time better than most of to day mine in shed wrapped up just has a spare?
Because it has a brushed DC motor, not universal motor. And universal motor is a brushed motor that can run both in DC and AC power, it has no magnets and only electromagnet using windings, it uses stator windings and armature windings. But brushed DC motor can only run on DC, but it does use magnets which are just attached to the wall and not the rotor, the rotor is the stator of itself because it has windings, so it's also called the armature. And both universal motor and brushed DC motor work similarly.
@@Wasmachineman I remember a Bauknecht Dynamic Sense Dolphin WA1600 having this type of brushed DC motor. It was very quiet on the rinses and mainwash but sounded like a normal brushed motor on spins. Quite weird to reply now after 5 months lol

it seems to me that this washing machine was released around the autumn of 2004 around September-October-November-December in both cases
Released in April 2004

This Siemens has a good brushed motor.
1800RPM Siemens
Siemens IQ1834 Super Fast 1800 r/min (1000 mph)
Miele just like Bosch Siemens, Neff, Gaggenau, AEG, ASKO is a premium household appliance brand but it costs around €1000 or even €2000-€3000

I had a IQ1430 second hand (and still have it) and yes. Very advanced, fast, and dose excellent rinsing with very little water
@@whichwasher2007 they are good and heavy 6kg drum
1800 rpm is super fast as 100 MPH
its much quicker than 100 mph, a 1200rpm machine goes like 120
£900 makes €1051.57 for such a retro washing machine which dates from 2004, 20 years ago
The spin ramp up is so silent..

This uses a brushed motor instead of an inverter but nice machine
These use a inverter motor my man.
t. has official Siemens service documentation for this series of machines
Nope it's a brushed DC motor.
@@whichwasher2007 wait what the fuck, am I being memed or is this true?
1800 RPM on a brushed engine, wtf BSH. I always thought these had inverters.
@@whichwasher2007 It has the same motor as Miele right?

This inverter sounds like brushed
It is brushed.
Nope, it's a brushed DC motor.
