We dont need einstein, we just need good manager, all the ones you mentioned were either way past their sell by date (glazers signings which you even admit were poor), or managers that are totally new to management, or managers thay are simply to stubborn to accept their system doesnt work in the premier league. Im very hopeful for once, the first game, first half even, will tell a lot though.
I don’t understand what’s so hard to get… Portuguese clubs vs English teams: 112 games, 30 wins, 23 draws, 59 losses. But here’s the fun part: you guys spend 100 times more! Premier League brings in €7.5B in revenue, blows £2.8B on transfers, and dishes out £4B+ on wages. Meanwhile, Portuguese clubs operate with scraps in comparison. Almost equal, right? Sure, just with slightly different budgets. Reality check: money buys trophies, not dreams! But yeah, Rúben Dias is bad, Mourinho’s overrated, and Bruno, Bernardo, Ronaldo, Jota… they’re all just lucky, right? … now Ruben is not the guy because the Portuguese league… WAKE… THE F*** UP
These are one-off matches in Europe. Usually in the group stages. Can Ruben do it week in, week out in the EPL? Against Brentford on a cold wet Tuesday night?

I do rate Amorim but I also think he's the wrong man, they need someone like Ralf Ranjick who can rebuild the club from top to bottom. Utd fans are so out of touch with modern football
Both Arteta and Slot have not managed in the top 5 leagues before being appointed. Both are doing quite well. It’s important for the club to have a good structure around the coach/manager. Both Liverpool and Arsenal have that already and Man Utd have now put that in place…so for me it could be the right time for Amorim…he needs 3 transfer windows and then we will know if he was the right person or not. Being a Liverpool fan, I prefer not but Amorim seems like a decent man and he is well loved by the players and fans at Sporting, which says a lot…so I wish him well.
This guy is just fishing for reactions. This is United’s most logical appointment post Fergie. He will not need to spend like every other manager and he will improve the existing squad which are massively underachieving.
@@visualfootball You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. You’ve rambled on about United’s recent history which is completely irrelevant to evaluating whether Amorim is suited for this role. I genuinely believe ANY decent manager who focuses heavily on positional movment to a tee (the 2024 way of football), you will see quite a stark difference.
@@visualfootball he did what he did in Portugal without the budget he's gonna have. Sporting was absolutely terrible when he arrived. Yeah okay, he was facing Portuguese clubs... While managing a Portuguese club, it's not like he was at Man United demolishing Estoril. Interesting perspective. Let's see which of us is correct. Playing Benfica, Porto, and Braga twice a season has prepared Amorim for the EPL? Take off the Man Utd goggles and see things clearly, mate. I bet you were saying Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was going to be the next Fergie.
@@visualfootball man utd goggles? I'm a Porto fan mate, couldn't care less for Man United. Guy managed my rival. Have not that much simpathy for him. But seen his teams play for more than half a decade and you can see when someone is kinda good or special. The way he transformed Sporting (and Braga before that) is absolutely insane. I don't expect you to understand something outside your PL bubble. Just don't act like you do
@@andyfern8923 i agree these premier league fans are annoying. as a benfica fan im glad that he's gone
I do rate Amorim but I also think he's the wrong man, they need someone like Ralf Ranjick who can rebuild the club from top to bottom. Utd fans are so out of touch with modern football

Nonsense. Amorim will do just fine
Great comment. I had not taken into account the setup at the club. Arsenal and Liverpool great examples.
Amorim is a perfect fit at Man United
Why is this Chanel hating so much dammm 😅
Delete this now. 1-2 Man utd beat City 😂
Amorim is at the wheel 🤣🤣🤣
This guy is just fishing for reactions. This is United’s most logical appointment post Fergie. He will not need to spend like every other manager and he will improve the existing squad which are massively underachieving.
Are you serious that he will not need to spend? He will need at least 6 players. A striker who can score 20 goals a season for one.
@@visualfootball You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. You’ve rambled on about United’s recent history which is completely irrelevant to evaluating whether Amorim is suited for this role.
United have finally taken a step in the right direction and have brought in a proper coach who will develop the existing squad, something which hasn’t happened for many, many years at United.
Your video does not reflect your title and is a simple click bait. You know Amorim is a hot topic of conversation right now.

Watching this vid there are points I agree with but other points I dont, lets see how things workout 🙂
The narrator says Utd was a step to far for Moyes yet Utd signed him on Fergie’s recommendation
Fergie signed Massimo Taibi and Gabriel Obertan. Also, maybe it's his influence behind the scenes that's causing this slump.
Why why why Ruben ?!.. Money sometimes is not everything at this point. He could have just stay at Sporting for the season end ! I’m sure Sporting would be at a better position! Win the league and get a better contract for him at the end of the year! Plus the fact that champions league was the best season for Sporting
Don't forget he would have a full summer transfer window to rebuild

Talk to me about Fergie moving from Aberdeen, Mourinho moving from Porto or Slot moving from Feyenoord.
Slot moving to a Liverpool team already rebuilt by Klop. Mourinho was the best manager in Europe, won UCL, and Fergie did great things with Aberdeen, the equivalent of Braga in Portugal, while back then Utd were big but not the super club of today
