There is just something to point out with the fullbacks. You were right by saying that there is a more attacking one and a more defensive one, but they do not have to be in the right or left side specifically, Amorim will have an attacking fullback in one side and the other will be a defensive one, either being left or right. In his beggining with Sporting we had Nuno Mendes (on the left) as the attacking fullback, but now we have Quenda (on the right) as the attacking one. It may change! But the rest of the video is amazing, even for someone who has been watching Amorimball for the past few years!
You have a point there. If you don't get on board with what Amorim wants you'll be taken out when the time comes. Sporting had no centre forward for one whole season because of Amorim's stubbornness. We had no one and the window was closing. Suddenly Slimani signs and comes back to Sporting. We were delighted, Slimani is a Sporting legendary forward along with Jardel, Bas Dost, Liedson and so on. No one really knows what went wrong. It seems Slimani wasn't meeting the effort quota despite having scored like we were expecting and they argued. All of the sudden Amorim takes him out of the squad and in January Slimani was gone.
What we need to understand is that Amorim has a psycho motor bachelor's degree and a post graduate degree from university. His football Managers course would involve the physical bio-motor training and his tactics and coaching. Amorim is The Educated One!
Thanks for the reply. There are many commentators commentating on football that recognize that players at our club have the physical skill sets for their individual positions. Most recognize their is / was something wrong with the way our players were either being trained, performing or indeed the culture of the club. There is no doubt that our environment be it manager or surroundings have a large part to play in the way we feel. At the time all three were worth 20 ish million each and we payed upward of 80 million for Anthony big mistake! Physical Fitness and skill to perform is one thing, obviously a requirement, yet from my own experiences as a pro footballer the game is played at the highest level by what is between the ears. You are disrespecting Mourinho but he was proven right if the fans backed him instead of pogba city wouldn’t have 7 pl and United would have at least 2 and a solid mentality+foundation. Pep bought 22 players mourinho 11 and when he asked for more players the glazers didn’t want. When he wanted to discipline Pogba martial and Shaw the fans backed those lame players. So these fans deserve to be relegated in championship. They have missed the train
Bit of disrespect to Mourinho, Jose is one of the best managers of all time. Has won titles in England, Italy and Real Madrid, plus the champions league.. there's along way to go for Amorim to be compared to Jose..
But the problem for Mourinho was when Pep Guardiola, Klopp modernized their tactics in this modern era , Mourinho couldn't modernize his tactics in this modern era of football
Mourinho prefers to use experience player. If you looked at his squad in chelsea, man united, and inter milan. All of them have atleast above 30 of age player. Inter: Zanetti Milito Eto'o [29, but stills old] MU: Zlatan. Lukaku. Chelsea: Lampard. Drogba. Eto [he's inlove with him]
See this where eth fckd up. Eth said he wont play ajax way here as players dont suit it. What a suck up. Should have brought his style in and if players didnt fit in they should piss off. Hope amorim has the balls to do it and im quietly optimistic with him.
If he can drop Rashford and Bruno when they are underperforming, then yes. He will succeed at the club. Otherwise he will have the same fate as the previous manager.
Amorim seems like a great coach but I will 100% personally back him after he beats an actual good team with United. Let's not forget this is the same hype Ten hag had but he didn't turn out that good
Any manager who decides to keep shaw is deluded. He’s missed about 50% of games due to injuries while at united so you can’t rely on him at all. Players who came after him have played more games. Yes when fit he’s good but thats not often and prioritises his england career. Needs to get binned asap, clear some wages for willing players😊
You are wrong about Solskaer, Man Utd were 11 win strike and 2nd in premier league under Solskaer until he was FORCED to take Ronaldo back, and then got sacked because of the results with Ronaldo.
2nd with liverpool full of injuries, chelsea with lampard , and most teams underperforming, 2nd still aint a title. 11 win strike that ended once he became the permanent manager. Ronaldo 18 premier league goals at 37 behind son and salah. In the champions league that year ronaldo got MU out of the group stage when bissaka got sent off and lingard messed up. Maguire was awful that season, 18 goals with shit service. Ronaldo was close to signing for city and everyone was turning on him for that, imagine 18 goals with a shit united , imagine how many goals with a dominant city
I doubt any get close to the first team due to not possessing the physicality to play with men AT THE MOMENT. Hence Godwill Kukonki training with the first team
Comparing Martial with Antony is wild. I get Martial was inconsistent but he actually had great periods of form where he scored & assist goals. Antony is miles off
i think you suppose to much, garnacho right back? seems amorim has prefer amad. and he likes old players too, not just young ones, coatas, mathieu, feddal, adan, paulinho etc... he uses what it his needs
One thing you failed to touch on is the fragility of this squad, alot of the players you mentioned just don't have the mentality to thrive at this level or in this system, their just weak minded.
@@MrDavidsdale1 new manager who’s not the same as the other managers, NEW outcome. The definition of insanity is doing the SAME thing and expecting DIFFERENT results. But the financial “management” of the Glasers has all but bankrupted United.
I think your video title should be: Why Ruben amorin should be wary of the player power that has sacked countless top managers before him? There are a lot of similarities between Ten Hag and Amorin. The first got disillusioned very quickly (yeah ronaldo was right about the state of club and its culture being a mess) and lost his ways, the latter will follow the same path very quickly. I can't wait to see that positivity vanish after a run of bad results and United finishing outside the top 4 on multiples seasons.
@@FutbolHistoria88 yeaaaahhh that's true. I understand your approach angle. @@carcano0868 Bruno Fernandes is nothing short of a liability. It’s genuinely perplexing that anyone still defends him. His endless flaws-constantly losing the ball like an amateur, forcing idiotic "Hollywood" passes, being out of position when it matters most, and throwing tantrums over every little thing-make him a detriment to the team. The occasional chance he creates simply doesn’t compensate for the chaos he leaves behind. Every midfielder who’s had the misfortune of playing behind him has been dragged down by his incompetence. And let’s not even get started on his obsession with set pieces. Bruno is like that kid in school who demands to take every free kick, corner, and penalty, yet can’t get a free kick over the wall or deliver a corner past the first defender. It’s absurd to watch him mess up set piece after set piece. He insists on hogging the ball only to ruin every opportunity. Bruno is far from the leader Manchester United needs, and labeling him a "cry baby" isn’t far off the mark. At best, he should be a bench player by United's historical standard. His passing is consistently substandard, yet United fans have become so accustomed to mediocrity.

@@GamingWorld-xe3olthat has nothing to do with what he said. That’s no argument to align with his sentence
Mourinho prefers to use experience player. If you looked at his squad in chelsea, man united, and inter milan.
All of them have atleast above 30 of age player.
Inter:
Zanetti
Milito
Eto'o [29, but stills old]
MU:
Zlatan.
Lukaku.
Chelsea:
Lampard.
Drogba.
Eto [he's inlove with him]

Can we play this video to the Manchester United players - please!!!!
😂😅👍
Top Tier Content!!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback and I'm thrilled that you think it's top tier! 🙏🙌
The quality is there, but their mentality to win is what lacks in United. That's why they bring no bs manager like amorim.
"he is not to be here to make new friends..." 😁
😁😅
See this where eth fckd up. Eth said he wont play ajax way here as players dont suit it. What a suck up. Should have brought his style in and if players didnt fit in they should piss off.
Hope amorim has the balls to do it and im quietly optimistic with him.
👍✌
ETH English is bad. he can't express himself properly
If he can drop Rashford and Bruno when they are underperforming, then yes. He will succeed at the club. Otherwise he will have the same fate as the previous manager.
Amorim The Goat won against Man City🥳🤩
Amorim seems like a great coach but I will 100% personally back him after he beats an actual good team with United. Let's not forget this is the same hype Ten hag had but he didn't turn out that good
Any manager who decides to keep shaw is deluded. He’s missed about 50% of games due to injuries while at united so you can’t rely on him at all. Players who came after him have played more games. Yes when fit he’s good but thats not often and prioritises his england career. Needs to get binned asap, clear some wages for willing players😊
Totally get where you're coming from! It's rough when a player can't stay on the pitch. Let's hope for some changes soon!
Sounds like Sporting's Jeremiah St. Juste. He is injured often, yet wasn't pushed out.
Next seasons should be interesting for
Man Utd vs Preston
Man Utd vs Derby
Man Utd vs Milwall
Man Utd vs Blackburn would be big match.
😂😂
1month ago - Maguire doesnt fit
Now: Maguire is the main man commanding the defence
@@nopesrk Yeah… something like: the best among the worst 😅😂
Can't believe people thought this smiling manager could change our players 😂
Hopefully Amorim brings Harry Amass and Shea Lacey into the first team. Rashford needs to be sold and we bring in Gyokeres.
and then Amorim get sacked too leaving Gyokeres
I doubt any get close to the first team due to not possessing the physicality to play with men AT THE MOMENT. Hence Godwill Kukonki training with the first team
Comparing Martial with Antony is wild. I get Martial was inconsistent but he actually had great periods of form where he scored & assist goals. Antony is miles off
i think you suppose to much, garnacho right back? seems amorim has prefer amad. and he likes old players too, not just young ones, coatas, mathieu, feddal, adan, paulinho etc... he uses what it his needs
Totally feel you on that! Coaches have their favorites, but sometimes the oldies just know how to get the job done, right?
One thing you failed to touch on is the fragility of this squad, alot of the players you mentioned just don't have the mentality to thrive at this level or in this system, their just weak minded.
agree, thx for your feedback! 👏🙏
Mourinho was right about everything
More like: for every Bruno, there were 3 Anthony Martials
All eyes on the new skipper.
Lets see how things unfold
👍
Amorin is doing a magnificent job of turning them into a championship club.🤣🤣🤣
So mean 😂😂
Great video, except for one mistake, "Sporting Lisbon"
Thank you for catching that! I really appreciate your attention to detail. It helps me improve for future videos! 🙏🙌
Alvaro Fernandez???? ...or Alvaro Carreras??
Go back three-four years back and you get similar video about Erik ten Hag.
not exactly fellani was a last resort as we couldnt sign our main targets
Same club, same players, new manager, same outcome.
@@MrDavidsdale1 new manager who’s not the same as the other managers, NEW outcome.
The definition of insanity is doing the SAME thing and expecting DIFFERENT results.
But the financial “management” of the Glasers has all but bankrupted United.
It is possible he may have to build from the Championship
Ops...! sounds like a plan 😅😂
Ruben smarter than Mourinho?Wow!
He's going to have to jettison the 3-4-3 system for either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, I don't think that system will work in English football on the long run.
we ll see 👍
McTominay would've been great for Amorim.
4 weeks later , does someone still think the same about Amorim?
what's your opinion?
😂😂😂everything made sense till u mentioned Marcus..
At the time I posted the video, there were still hopes for Marcus. 😅
I understand what you're saying, but if I used that title, no one would click on the video. 😅😂👍
@@FutbolHistoria88 yeaaaahhh that's true. I understand your approach angle. United fans me included are in desperate need of positivity, cause it feels like the club is stagnating or even worse, regressing despite INEOS taking over the football side (PR coup from the glazers to deflect the fans attention from their activities and all their wrongdoings at the club). Sir Jim Radcliffe is just another Glazers Vassal, otherwise they wouldn't have sold him the 25% stake.
Massive clear out needs to happen next season.... So many inconsistant overrated players... Dalot/Bruno/Rashford... and the oldwoods Erickson/Maguire/Evans/Casmiro/Lendalof
Remove Bruno from that list ASAP
@kingahannaforex4509 Bruno is shait.
👍
Bruno is the worse shit player
United players have nothing to worry about. Amorim is busy self destructing. Guy will be gone by the end of the season

SPORTING CLUBE de PORTUGAL, not Sporting Lisbon!!
He's not that good, in Portugal he's not been dominant has Mourinho, Vilas Boas, or he's professor JJ Jorge Jesus...ir even Roger Smith if you want a proper manager for free take Sergio Conceição a classeless person but the best in the world hands down.
Mourinho does Ruben you 17million and Summer
First time I’ve been excited since Fergie won the league with his worst team🤣
Yeah? 😅
I hope the lazy bum Rashford doesn't start as long as he dont show effort.
mmyeah...
Rashford is too comfortable here, he lacks passion now. I don’t have faith in him. Also he’s a crap striker. You can tell he prefers the wing
Yeah. He s leaving anyway
Sporting Lisbon?? There is no such club, stop with that nonsense. Club name is Sporting CP, Sporting Clube de Portugal, Sporting Portugal or just SPORTING.
😮 ho
?
Bruno is kind of overrated! He can’t even hold the ball
I see where you are coming from but I kinda disagree because of the contribution he brings in attack
Hater
