You can easily tell they're the same brand of cyborgs, but you can also distinguish their history from their themes too. Fulgore being the recent, more advanced model, so of course he'll have an industrial speed metal theme, while Kilgore, being an much older prototype, would have a subdued but equally intimidating variation.
In an unexpected turn of events, Killer Instinct adds a My Life As A Teenage Robot guest character to it's roster. (This is the longest range pull i could think of.)
lol I laughed at that I love this game and all but after watching maximilian doods stream and playing the character my self its true he is slow his projectiles don't do hardly any damage and to top it all off as a slap in the face hes 10 dollars for the worst character in the game

Seeking to improve upon the Kilgore model, Thunder's brother (a true warrior) was kidnapped and had his soul transferred into a Fulgore model. This is what makes him special- he is a machine with the soul of a Native American warrior. Kilgore is so outdated and beaten up, that when he salutes officers, he actually *punches himself in the face.* Perfection, my ass!

It was shutdown but this one became self-aware and started upgrading it's software to make up for the overheating problem, which led to Aria keeping it from being destroyed to help her achieve her goal
Wasn't bad but compared to the other themes the season 3 composers came up with this lacked creativity. This theme seemed like it took the same amount of effort that Mick Gordon put into Riptors theme, which to me was the worst theme of season 2.

I honestly think Fulgore's theme should be Kilgore's, and vice versa.
It makes sense based on their play styles, too. Fulgore is more rushdown, while Kilgore prefers a slower match played at longer ranges.
The overall laid back guitar feel gives me a feel of Fulgore's stage back on the first game.
That stage theme was full-on 80's horror
