Dope, open lever guide line then start at closed lever and gradually lift guide line till it's open lever guide making it a blend.
I had a haircut like this for the first time about a year ago and at first I was sort of taken back. I had never heard of a barbor using a straight edge in a fade, but pretty soon afterwards, the straight edge became my favorite part of the whole haircut process.

Is it fine i set my initial bald guideline with the wahl balding clippers? I have the andi t outliners but it gets a lot balder. So it’s harder to knock out that guideline than the balding clippers.

What kind of straight razor was that and where can I get one
Where can I get a standard fade blade for the Wahl magic clip especially like the gold one you have is that what the blade is called or is there a serial number or something
The fade blade comes on the magic clip , I just use a gold version
The straight razor was like $9 on eBay and comes with 100 blades

I’ve recently started watching your videos more often and have enjoyed them a lot.
You call this a Chicano fade, so now when I get a client who asks for this not only can I give him this cut but explain it as well. Ya know clients who’ve had good barbers explain what they’re doing and giving it to them builds that rapport them and helps them come back.
