I'm not trying to create controversy and this is a serious question! Why wouldn't a black person that took the time to learn, be able to speak another language? I mean it's not like black people are some other form of a human, rigbt. Of course a black human being can do anything that another human being can! Am I missing something?
Why would people be so shocked when alot of people speak Spanish. Just because he is darker complected means nothing when alot of Spanish countries have darker complected people

And it’s sometimes a good shock as in wow this tourist took the time to learn our language when it’s clearly not his native tongue. I get the same reaction when people find out I speak fluent English but I was born in a Spanish speaking country. Most people have attempted to learn another language but failed to have the patience and determination it takes to master it. I don’t think it’s a big deal but to some that only know 1 is a shock no matter the color of one’s skin.
