Winter Camping & Important Repairs to the Shelter - Overnight Stay in the Snow

Back at the stone shelter and joined by the guys who help build it. Simon and Brandon joined me for an overnight stay at the hybrid bushcraft shelter. Weather conditions kept changing and we even had a mild snow storm. It was a great trip and laughs as always were had. Had a lot more work to do than expected but we had fun. The Boys are BACK !!! 👍😃. Good to see you Mike, Simon, and Brandon. Everyone looked healthy and happy !! A fella couldn’t ask for anything more. Good job on the zipper repair. I do think someone else should do the zipping and unzipping. Mike you been banned. 😳. Just teasin Bud. One day you guys are gonna have to share the stories told at night around the fire. That was always the best part of the trip to me. We would try to out do the next guy telling crazy funny stories. The next day my ribs would be sore from laughing so hard. Even bruised my fat. 😆😄😄. I see your beautiful trees have taken the brunt of the winter's behavior too. Will have plenty of sticks to pick up and tree trimming when the snow melts. You need a tarp over the zipper.
