Hi I have a biology exam Monday so would appreciate if u replied to my question....
I am confused as for your example of pyramids of biomass with grass sheep and humans, surely it would be an upside down pyramid as even if you have lots of grass it's still gonna be way lighten than a human....
    please reply!!
I did find the video helpful apart from this one confusion I have

I know this is a bit late, but I just thought I'd tell you that though its called a pyramid of biomass, i don't think it actually depends upon the mass of the producer or consumer. Its essentially a food chain going upwards instead of to the side, if that makes any sense.

Okay, at this point the answer may not have any real use for you, but for anyone else with the same issue here goes:
A pyramid of biomass describes the relationships between the populations of species in an ecosystem: just like a pyramid of numbers. However, unlike a pyramid of numbers that describes the number of organisms, a pyramid of biomass describes the *total* mass of species living in the ecosystem.
Taking your example, although a blade of grass is order of magnitude lighter than the sheep, combining all the blades of grass in field should give you a massive mass - this is the bio mass. Like so, the total mass of the sheep feeding off this grass would be much lesser, as there is a lot less sheep than there is grass. And following the same principle, the total mass of human that eat the sheep will have a smaller total biomass.
And thus, putting this on a graph will give you a bottom heavy one.
