I am a pharmacist and have a background in Vet med and farming. The nutrition in Vet med is better then in humans. If we eat the exact opposite to the SAD diet we will be healthy. I am day 6 of carnivore and doing great so far. Joint pain gone, down 6 pounds. Will keep you all posted.

I started raising my own cattle a couple years ago. As long as they have a clean environment, clean fresh water and proper nutrition they are healthy.
People need to do the same.
Veterinarians deal with environment and nutrition to fix animal health problems. It's that simple.

    • @zimjun7
      @zimjun7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Yup! I've heard a T.E.D. talk. The title was "What Veterinarians Know That Doctors Don't." Joel Wallach is one of those Vet/doctors that treat humans as well as animals. He used to work with Marlin Perkins of Wild Kingdom.
13:46 This makes me think about Thomas Edison. He got a few hours of sleep every night, BUT he took a decent nap every day!
32:10 In answer to all these maladies. WHAT is causing it??? Everything is downstream from a dysfunctional mitochondria.

I'm sorry, I was 16 years old and I had a gynecologist fresh out of medical school who needed to make money to pay off his loans. At 16 he took my right ovary and fallopian tube because of a cyst. Metabolic syndrome and a high carb diet are the blame. He didn't know that. At 30 I had another gynecologist give me a complete hysterectomy. No clue. I'm now 60 and have lived a subpar life as a result of my female organs taken at 16 and 30. It's sad what have happened to women at the hands of medical malpractice.

If I had known 30 years ago, I could have fed my four children exactly opposite of how I fed them. I worked so hard feeding them completely wrong. Juicing daily and grinding wheat to make bread.
      UGH

Very good point about the food made by Dr Kiltz. We are living with a veil over our eyes. We all thought we were eating healthy before carnivore. Since we are unlikely to run into a carnivore primary care physician. Dr Kiltz point is profound, if it wasn’t for social media we would still be in the dark.

Please include this in the carnivore movie

Blows my mind looking back... Every single doctor visit, even when i was diagnosed type 2, not one of my healthcare professionals at any level asked me a single question about my diet nor did any of them say a word about changing my diet. That is so sad and disappointing I don't even have words for it. Thank God for people like you trying to reach us all because you actually care about other human beings 🙏💕🥩

I am so pleased that you are looking at women's health.

I’ve enjoyed so many of Dr. Kiltz’ videos but this one is really fantastic 🙏🏽 Thanks so much Kerry!! Tell your daughters I’m an example of someone who ruined my hormones, thyroid and ended up with breast cancer… a hormonal and metabolic cancer. I was 25 years vegan and 32 years vegetarian in total. I started menses age 11 and also became vegetarian age 11. Nothing but menstrual problems, mental health, obesity until changing my diet 2021. I now don’t think becoming veg and menstruating age 11 was a coincidence. It was a punishing path. Eating meat is rebuilding me and I’m healthier with each day!! It’s incredible 🙏🏽🤩 But if I could go back in time, I would have never been vegan/vegetarian. I would have just become an extremely humane and regenerative farmer. Finally got around to it in my 40’s. Raising my own food and expanding to a business in the next month! Children who love animals so much need to become farmers💚

Kerry, this is day 7 for me on carnivore after I moved to keto 6 weeks prior. Your interviews are so motivating. I’m a retired physician with a Masters in human physiology. You have helped me to find the science I needed to update with. Reading “Why we get Sick” by Ben Bickman which is a easy to understand review of insulin resistance. Anyone struggling with reversing their thinking should read this book. If not a reader, listen to any of his podcasts like with Dr. Chaffee. This interview with Dr. Kiltz, is so excellent. A reproductive endocrinologist is an expert in cholesterol-based hormones and understand how to create an ideal environment in her body to promote pregnancy, a miracle in itself. This is a long video, but worth listening to his expertise and 13 years’ experience in eating counter to the “food pyramid “. “You are responsible for your health!” What a truth. Thanks to Kerry and Dr. Kiltz

Kerry I feel like your Carnivore diet documentary needs to blow up like the movie Sound of Freedom. Have you considered trying to go in that path of putting it on the big screen and people donating tickets for others to go to the movies to see??? Then after a period of time put it out on the big streaming networks. This is huge!!! It needs to be seen by every single person in the world. Thank you for what you are doing. This has to be what sparks the movement of change. Bc we the people are the only ones who can do this, but we have to do it together.

"The microbes in your gut, they ferment amino acids and they ferment sugars, and what does fermentation make? Alcohol. So the majority of humans are walking around with foggy brain depression on alcohol, all the time, plus fermentation makes methane gas, aldehydes (which are also deadly for us) and heat".
I can finally understand the cause of the depression and anxiety I have suffered from for as long as I can remember. Since I was a child I remember being fearful and always with depression and confusion, sometimes more sometimes less, but always in that gray and horrible state of mind.
When I ate a lot of carbohydrates like in an Italian restaurant, where everything is pasta and more plants, the next day I felt drunk and hungover, joked that I had a hangover from eating flour and I was not wrong.
My family is very addicted to carbohydrates and they always seem depressed, angry and drunk! My father was an alcoholic and gave up drinking over 40 years ago, but he has never stopped eating big amounts of carbohydrates, and he still looks like an alcoholic, in his physical appearance and in his behavior...
Wow, this part of the talk has really been an eye opening for me. Thanks so much Dr. Kiltz and Kerry 🙏🏻💝

Is this why ancestors ate fermented bread and vegetables? Are they making alcohol if already fermented outside the body?

I worked with a guy years ago who was a fart machine. Ate allot of bread and sugar. He almost died of a non alcoholic fatty liver. He didn't consume alcohol but his diet gave him a steady supply for decades.

It depends. There are different methods of fermentation. Some produce alcohol, some don't.
      Not all fermentation is equal.

    • @Ilethsamael
      @Ilethsamael ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@JESUSSavesWAKEUPfermented bread and veg would be "predigested" through the fermentation so they would be less damaging.

I’m new to carnivore. The Doctor prescribed Tramadol for my autoimmune illness dealing with muscle inflammation and very much pain. 30 lbs overweight because of serious fatigue. I’m only in 5 days but I’m a cook and baker so I think I’ll find cooking fun. I’m a natural for carnivore since I never eat fruit , nor anything sweet. No veggies . But my problem is or was starch foods and wheat . Breads and any wheat gives me asthma. I crave meat, ( beef) mostly but I love all meat and seafood. I’m in pain every day. I’m hoping I can succeed.

Yeah Kerry - having Dr Kilz on. He is such a gentle guy, so kind and considerate and supportive. And a carnivore veteran for 13 years that has healed himself in the process too. I love that he has also incorporated some of the eastern ways including meditation into his life and teachings. I am only a 13 week veteran:) Yes, the doctors have learned the propaganda. When everyone believes the low fat eat more vegetable lies taught to everyone it is amazing that anyone realized that high saturated fat, low carb is so healing. Yes, we do take a risk to go against that and try an ancestral way of eating. Few people see it as nutritious. A year ago I wouldn't have believed I would start eating this way. Thank you Kerry for inviting Dr Kilz to tell his story. I love that he sets an example but does not push people at all or ridicule people that don't choose to do it. I had not known the story of James Henry Salisbury. So important to distinguish between animal proteins and plant proteins which are incomplete. He is a great teacher. Fat is so important. Plants and lean meats together are dangerous. High protein low fat is deadly for humans. We were born human lions and became convinced that we are sheep and pigs. We are breathing bad air, drinking unhealthy things, and eating wrong. The liver makes fat, but we are taught that that it filters toxins. Good to know he is also on 10 am Sunday Eastern time. 5 am Eastern time during the week is way to early! Kerry, the story about your daughter is so touching, and that the carnivore diet helped the HS.

I have had problems with migraines every weekend as long as I can remember, I tried Carnivore since I wanted to lose some weight, and after a couple of weeks I noticed " I haven't had to take any medication at all for my migraine” It disappeared completely, what a feeling to wake up without a headache!
I ran strictly with meat and eggs (I drink Pepsi max or coca cola zero sometimes, I try stop that too, but that will be hard.) but after 5 weeks I started eating some vegetables too (it was holiday so it was hard not to, I know you can, but it can be tricky) and the headache came back, a little milder (since I didn't eat other carbohydrates or sweets, the only "sweet" was from the vegetables and it was not much) so now I’m back at work and I have started go on carnivore again.
I've heard more people get migraines from sugar, so maybe doctors should use a different word instead of saying "you need to change your diet" then it's better to say "you're allergic to sugar" then I think more people are more willing to test to cut it of their food.
That's how I see it, that I'm allergic to sugar.
But it was tough when I started, from being a sugar addict to stop eating it from one day to another.
Around day 5-6 I felt sick and got no strength and had a heavy dizziness that I have not felt before, it was detoxification, the day after it was gone. I think it will be easier this time because I didn't eat as many carbs during my vacation "vegetables cheat weeks" (it was maybe 90% meat and 10% vegetables) as I did when I was sugar addicted.

I’m a little over a week on Carnivore & I feel fantastic - I’m already less inflamed and joint pain is 95% gone already. I am having sugar withdrawals , or “keto flu”. But other than that , I breathe well, I sleep well, I feel better all around.

When Dr Klitz spoke about going to sleep at 9 and waking up at 3, it resonated with me as I've been finding that I'm doing the same thing as well, as feeling sleep twice in the day for about half an hour. I've been on carnivore now for 4 months and this started to happen about a month ago. Glad it's not just me haha.

i'm a woman living in Alaska, and enjoying a lion diet with some coffee and cream but otherwise fatty beef burgers or steak. Working on improving my health after the month so far, and I'm off blood pressure meds! Diagnosed with MS about 30 years ago, I've been aware of inflammation and also the extreme improvements of diet, but I kept slipping back to my usual foods. I think maybe not this time! Exciting to hear you are coming to Alaska and I'm wondering where?

I am only 11 days in, steak, hamburger, bacon, cheese, eggs, butter. I am trying to quit smoking and drinking. I want to change my life. I am thinking of starting a youtube for those of us who have all the other bad habits. I am feeling way more motivated to quit the rest with only 11 days on carnivore. I am not doing it for weight, my weight is fine. I am doing it for my health and for a better life. I have a very long story to tell starting with the loss of my only child and then getting morgellons a disease not recognized by Doctors. I am 66.
