Littler's the only person who can work a crowd and come out a winner since Price, and I absolutely love seeing characters like those.
It’s also hilarious to see the difference between the player and the man. On stage and in the groove he soaks up the pressure, plays to the crowd and is a minor menace. As soon as the match is over and he’s interviewed he reverts back to being a timid school kid. I love it.

What do you mean? Just about everyone is saying he's the best to ever play. I reckon that's going a bit early. There's a man called Phil Taylor who has 16 World Championships under his belt. No one is anywhere near his level of consistency and success. Littler MIGHT one day compare to Taylor but that is a long way down the track.

If you knew your darts you wouldn't make stupid comments like this, as Littlers been around 6 months, and EVERY number 1 darts player over the years has had a 6 month period where they couldn't miss...it just happens! The legends sustain it for longer...I mean at Xmas, everyone was saying the same about Luke Humphries after the 6 months he'd just had leading up to the Worlds!...Rob Cross had the same comparisons coming from nowhere and winning the worlds too!

Obviously there is an English hype, but if a random 17 yr old Bangladeshi kid rocks up on the scene and makes the World Championship final and wins both the league and playoff format of the premier league beating the world champion and world no.1 in his debut season while winning masters tournaments, he would instantly go into the top 3 even top 1 most talented darts player ever.
Van gerwen was incredibly talented but if Littler continues this form and wins another premier league or World Championship he is undoubtedly the most talented darts player ever. Not best, but most talented. Obviously prime MVG was better, but MVG at 17 wasn't this good.
@@Adam35779 Cant compare darters way back to regards nowadays as dartboards are much better nowadays with the wiring and trebles look slight larger on todays board because of much thinner razor like wiring on todays boards .. This i know played often on boards in 70s and still play on todays better boards and darts today more choices nd bit better also . But my fav times watching darts was in 70s with Wilson , Bristow , Lowe, Gregory , Lazrenko , Anderson and later Taylor and others ..But the standard has slightly risen now and this guy Littler is playing even better than any ive seen although as said cant compare and ive said why .

The crowd was pretty anti-Littler throughout the evening and he was on top for pretty much the whole final. They didn’t have much to shout about I guess.

pretty sure MVG is the youngest player to reach the no. 1 spot in 2014 when he was in his mid 20s, so littler still has a few years to break that record.

Littler is playing at an amazing level. How long can it last? MVG did the same for a few years and he's dropped back to the pack. Humphries looks the purest thrower to me. Smith just seems to knock of huge numbers when he's on song. Price is a steady performer. Wright needs to hit those doubles and Rob Cross looks so nonchalant the entire time he's up on the stage.

Wrights coming back together. Just Unlucky thou he looked smoother than he’s looked all year very positive. Bullyboy should’ve pulled it out. Luke is a phenom. I’ve been a fan of his for the last three yrs. Don’t know about longevity but that’s up to him. If he can keep the focus of Phil Taylor then he has the best chance we’ve every seen to beat The Powers record if he stays healthy. But his focus is far ahead of anyone else on this Planet! Great to watch and great for Darts! Great for you guys across the pond to witness him live. I’m in the US and only get 1 shot here in NY to see The Nuke. Be thankful, don’t be hateful. Right now other PDC players are hitting the practice board more because of Luke. Good stuff!
