I find the videos you both do are marvo and full of such wonderful advice. I have been enjoying yr cruising adventures. My hubby and I are new to cruising with our first trip on the Explorer 2023, really looking forward to Tonga and Fiji in August this year.... wouldn't it be fab to live on a cruise ship? Looking forward to viewing the rest of your cruise from Japan 🎉
Hi, I love you videos, so informative for a newbie cruiser. I am going on my second cruise on Sunday 12/03/2023., aboard the Carnival Luninosa. I hope to get to meet you both someday, somewhere.
Last time we were there we did Dumbea River kayaking which was great. We are back in a couple of weeks and will be doing the tchou tchou train again which we think is always a good one for a first time in Noumea. Another one we want to try is Signal Island. Apparently there is great snorkeling and lots of turtles. I think you need to be in Noumea for a full day to do that one though. Whatever you do have a fantastic day and cruise.
Thank you so much! This was super helpful, my partner and I are going for our first cruise early November :)) super super excited We are also going on carnival Louisiana ahah Might meet some of you guys :)
Hi Elaine and thanks for watching. Last time we were there the tours were in the Port building but from what we can gather there was some dispute about noise and the tour guys got moved to outside. We believe that the smaller ships still dock at the cruise port but we were on the Quantum which is too big so we had to go to the industrial port round the corner and get buses back.
That was very helpful, thanks 🙏💜 We are about to do Noumea for the second time and wondered what we could do/see differently We did the Choo Choo, but with cruise I think it was $79 ea AU
We just came back from Noumea on the Carnival Luminosa 19/2 to 2/03 /23 and did the choo choo train, loved it next time we are doing the best of Noumea tour to see what it's like. Plus we just missed the 2 cyclones and earthquake that was a real shock and I feel sorry for the Islanders.
Really good info. I wanted to know what happened when you got off the cruise without booking anything, and that’s exactly what you told me. How much money do you think would be enough for the day guys?
Hello, Does the HOHO bus take AUD? Also does the shops take AUD? If not, is there a place of currency exchange nearby? Would you recommend having Pacific Franc on hand before travel? Please share where you have uploaded the map you showed in the video. Thanks a lot.
The hop on bus takes Aussie dollars, there is a foreign exchange in cruise terminal and across the road at supermarket shown there is a ATM…shops don’t take Aussie dollars, markets upstairs does…Lemon Bay Area is worth a look for a swim, bars across the road,Noumea is very expensive because Franc is linked to Euro.
We will be there for 8 hours and want to explore by ourselves as much as possible. Sounds like the hop on bus is the go! As long as we get back to the cruise by 5pm. Was the shuttle bus from the cruise free?
Thanks Rob and Ali for the info. It’s a great help.
Good video
Short & Sweet
Thank you for sharing ❤
Outside Noumea The sceneries are much better ❤

Great video as always
Good to see again, all I remember when I was there years ago ,was the upstairs markets, that was when the boat docked at the small wharf.

Some of the market stalls we found were of great quality, the jewellery stalls and paintings.
Love your videos we are doing the same cruise this year
That was very helpful, thanks 🙏💜

Agree with you. We just walked around the city and there wasn't much to see. Next time we will do a tour

Hi guys thanks for doing the hard work for us.
How do we access the noumea map on your website.
Thank you
What day of the week we’re you there? My wife was there on a Sunday and said NOTHING was open, but that was many years ago.

Yes, free shuttle, and they pretty much run continuously, to and from the ship.
Can you use Aussie dollars to pay for the hop on hop off bus ?
Whats the website to get that 1 day at noumea map?????
Pity you didn't mention the patisserie that many people love to visit.
Can you tell me the name please
she justs whinges
Hi Mark and thanks for watching. Who just whinges?
Too much bla bla bla. Show us the sights.
Waste of time watching, you didn’t do anything at all. Noumea is a amazing place and you didn’t show any of it!
