There is nothing to do with quantity here, the game will be the same as 5v5. And I admit that quality Indo team is not performing well here. Also 6 slots were given maybe because of contributions either as hosts, sponsors etc...

The moment MPLI becomes offline, i know Indo wouldn't win this. That ping advantage is no more, that's why there's no such thing as MPLI curse, Indo winning online MPLI using there server as host means nothing.

I guess indo team really succeeded in an online set up, as what flaptzy said indo team really dominating in scrims and in the previous MPLI because it's online. When it is onstage or offline tournament they seem to affect the mental aspect of game seeing their opponent and the stage mental effect.

unfair for indo teams next MPLI it should implement these rules:
1. all 9 teams from indo are qualified this tournament
2. ony from the bottom rank from mpl ph (ex: TNC & MINANA EVOS) are only qualified to join
3. the rest other countries will only have 1 team representative (runner up only not thier champion)
4. each team will have 2 pause allowed ( indo not included)
5. only indo teams allowed to RE- DRAFT the game anytime and UNLIMITED PAUSE
6. indo teams have privilege to DQ other teams (except indo vs indo)

As a Filipino I can see that Malaysia is getting stronger but I hope the disciplined themselves and less taunting so that they can win the heart of all of us and focus on the game.
The main reason why Indonesia always win the MPLI offline cause:
1.) Game Server is Indonesian, it means thr always a lag on other regions participating
2.) PH doesn't really serious with the tournament especially to the M participants
3.) ID players are not use to play international or against foreign teams, unlike PH most of the players has already experience International scene and almost PH team has international experience

The thing with Indo is they don't utilize their MDL players, they sign popular players because they want instant result, they should nourish their mdl players so they can use them for MPL. Look at Blacklist, most of them are from MDL and they still beat MPL teams
It’s understandable for Geek as they are preparing for M5 and likely they didn’t want to put in that much effort into winning this unless it’s a really easy route by just using normal tactics,
But I was expecting BTR to at least make it into the top 4 tbh as they are known as the import slayers in ID and SPS!
Ultimately, BTR really improved a lot since MPL ID S12 despite not having any imports & also congrats to RBL on winning the match against one of the tournament favourites BTR!

APBREN doesn't really care about mentally drained matters , i think i understand why they still joined the tourna and not to skip it coz if they couldn't defeat the "mentally drained" matter they aren't ready to conquer the M5 champ. This is preparation for them also adding more experience/strategy/idea.
Every team leading to M5 can also learn experience by:
1. Joining tournaments like MPLI. Not just AP Bren who joined. HB, TOB, Geek, Team Flash, SYS got some experience in the new Meta
2. By resting and preparing hard discreetly like Onic, Blacklist (Main 5). Onic is now playing on PH server and also hiding and making more strats as they were exposed by AP Bren, (although ran out of steam), Geek and BTR
BTR played the wrong line up, Saken and Vynn are weak
Old rrq player is the best line-up.
I think S10 Onic is better than old RRQ, but old RRQ is better than all these MPLI Indo teams.

@@reboltv4246 yes i am, I am one of the people who is quite vocal about the quality of the MPL ID team which cannot compete in international tournaments (except Onic) and I also have my own obsession with the Philippines, don't be surprised that on the one hand I mocked and critized my own country's team and than support and also praised mpl ph team, I'm not the typical Indonesian person who likes to brag or be toxic.
For me, apart from Onic, which has influence from the Philippines, other teams don't seem to know the difference between pro players and public players, their discipline, understanding of strategy, capability and mentality are far from worthy of being called as an esports athlete, that's my view about the Indonesian esports scene, especially MLBB.
