Hello from a fellow Washington resident (about 40 miles north of Seattle)! This is awesome! Thank you for your take on the dragon... I ordered my supplies and I can't wait to make one..
That is awesome when my grandsons were younger, they would’ve absolutely love this because they love the movies how to train your Dragon. They probably would still like it now even as teenagers. Very cool.
@@KatsCreationsNMore yes, toothless was their favorite as well. At one time I had bought all of those characters for them but I’m sure by now they’re long gone.😊. I still have all the DVDs I think there was three movies?
Replay. I am so glad to see you do this one.I have the black/gold and blue/purple one. I do like the changes you made and to see you use deco mesh was even better, I don't like the poly burlap, I like fabric mesh better, but I have the deco mesh on hand and I can use it. Thank you for showing us how to use it with the dragon and be able to ship it as well. You are always so good about thinking about how it should be done from start to finish. I always enjoy watching you.
Thanks so much Helen. I love the metallic look that comes from using the deco mesh over the poly burlap. I am not a fan of that look for this design personally. I think the shiner metallic gives it the look I am trying for.
I went ahead and showed this to my two grandsons as I mentioned before they’re both teenagers now, but they thought this was awesome. The youngest one said, so grand is that gonna be your new Halloween wreath. I said oh it’s long gone there’s no way it’s available now. The oldest one said wow that really looks like scales on there.😊
Anne, thank your grandsons for their wonderful comments. You can reach out to me to order one, just give me about 3 weeks lead time to order the materials. You can email me at info@katscreationsnmore.com.
You can order the dragon costume for kids on Amazon.UK as well as most of the other supplies. I'm not sure if Unique in the Creek ships to the UK for the board but Amazon might carry it.
Can you tell me where you found the burgundy and gold mesh? I would greatly appreciate it. Your tutorial was great. Your a very good instructor. The dragon wreaths are very creative but also creepy to me lol I’m now finding out my 7 year old grandson likes dragons. So I don’t know I may break down and try to make one for him. Hopefully it’s for Halloween 🥴
Not only does it look like scales, but it also looks like fire. It perfectly goes with the dragon. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much Julie. That was my goal.

I can't take credit for the design Cheryl, so many others made one before I did this one.

Right? The problem every one had was it was too big to make shipping affordable.
That is gonna be pretty
Thanks so much Betty.
I've looked for this wreath on your website and I can't find it. How much is the selling price?

Hello and welcome Sylvia.
Did I miss a part of you tell everyone what size are the zip ties also how scaled does it take for this board.thankd
Debbie, the zip ties are 6 inches and you will need a grand total of 16 of each of the three colors to make your dragon so a total of 48

Can you thread a piece of wire through the tail to be able to bend it the way you want?
You might be able to but it is pretty condensed foam. You would need to use something to create the hole.
@@KatsCreationsNMore Thank you for the information! I appreciate it.
@@ilse0972 You are so welcome
Can a 14" wire frame be used
I don't believe so as the weight of the design would be too heavy for that.
You AMAZING
Oh thanks so much Olga.
I would love one in black and dark orange... Price please? Maybe?
Lisa, email me at info@katscreationsnmore.com and we can work on that for you
where did you get your mesh and what kind is it?
From both CraftOutlet and Joanns and its just wide foil mesh
what size is the Unique in the Creek ring
It is 15.5 inches Gerry
Kat what is the size of the wreath board
Jennifer, it is a 15.5 inch Unique in the Creek ring board.
you could probably put the mesh on a 5 gallon paint stick, and make the dragon spread out!
Oh most definitely. There are an infinite possibilities, but I was trying to keep the cost of shipping one down for clients.
What size is ring board
They only make one and it's 15.5 inches
Awesome question what type of mesh did you use?
Just a metallic deco mesh Mary Ann.

That's cool looking. You can't really see the wings attachment. ❤
You can, but I didn't want mine to be all the way in the open, plus if I had them higher, it wouldn't be a product I could ship.
how much should you charge for this?

On the eyes, if you make a small slit on top and bottom of the eye hole you can slip the eye in and then add some glue. I love this Dragon Wreath.
Yes, that is what I did on this one, but I think my eyes are just being stubborn. Sometimes the foam on the masks can vary I have found too Luz.
