One general thought about this season: I fucking hate the chocolate bar twist. I know this is technically fairer than Ru just bringing a favorite back, but it creates such an uncomfortable situation on the stage. First you get told, that the judges didn't think you brought it this week, then you lose a lip sync and finally, knowing that merit won't keep you in the race, you have this 7.2% chance that you picked the correct random object - or you didn't and in addition to ending your drag race run they now also ruined chocolate for you. Everytime someone opened one of those chocolate bars I felt bad that they have to jump through this last, silly hoop that is playing with their hope and despair.
i actually love it... seeing them hopeful for the last second only to be devastated for the second time imagine the negative emotions from being announced you're low, then hearing the critiques, then placing bottom two, then losing the lipsync, then seeing a chocolate 😂
the funniest thing is imagine the chocolate gold bar falling into the hands of a queen that never lands in the bottom- the gig then becomes totally obsolete. I think it would make more sense to round up the eliminated queens and then do the chocolate gold bar draw- then the lucky one gets their second shot. That way one of the queens really have the chance at that very moment.
@@tiptop9373 I agree- the chocolate has to be rigged. If it had gone to June, Alyssa, Orion or even Maddy, it would be too early in the season and a complete waste. If someone makes top four without lip syncing it would be a waste, and I doubt they’d give it to the queen who lip syncs at top five. And imagine if Kornbread had it without ever having a chance to lip sync. The twist pretty much has to come mid-or-late season to keep viewership up and not go to waste. Everyone knows the “drag gods” are just the producers, I honestly like it more when the producers are honest about someone being saved (a la Kandy Muse or BenDeLaCreme, who were outright told that they lost and Ru simply wanted them to stay).
IM LIVING FOR RU'S unhinged era. she's so much funnier. she's less serious and it really makes for better tv and her looks are amazing! The two piece was really cute. I love it! I also think its best Lady Camden has looked! The hair, the makeup, the outfit, the construction, everything was really well done! she's been in the background for me for a while but she showed out with this one and I love it. I also love Jorgeous' look! I think the thing that works so well is that its so specifically her and how she worked it but I do agree that she shouldn't have won. also right?! Kerri had great materials and was starting in a good direction but she just somehow completely changed it. im thinking the winner will be either Willow or Angeria. If Willow can keep it up she definitely has a strong chance. Angeria has been so consistent so I don't see her faltering enough to land in the bottom two.

While they were thinking it through, i was thinking how much better it could've been if the aprons were made into ruffles or something. I understand maybe her skills would not make that feasible, but i think it wouldvw looked really cool. Maybe like kind of a mermaid shape could work too?
I don't think I noticed the technical issues with the dress because I bought the fantasy Maddy is a dirt poor southern girl going to her first dance, and she feels like the belle of the ball even though her dress is an ill-fitting grandma quilt nightmare
But when Vander Van Odd talked about taking an existing structure and trying to build off of it, I understood the complaints It would have fit better or been shaped better if Maddy started from her body and built out, rather than starting with the structure and trying to fit it to her body
Bob and Vander is a Purse First Impressions duo I wasn't expecting, but that I'm very much enjoying. I loved hearing about where you both interpreted the looks differently or had different opinions especially.
Willow did pretty amazing given all the obstacles she faced in the challenge (struggling with the boxes so being limited to the stuff other queens didn't want) and then Daya telling her not to do a babydoll... Shows how talented she is. She still turned out one of my favourite looks of the episode.
She should of been bottom 2 it was horrendous. Shes seam the seamstress of the season…. It was literally two pieces of plain fabric sewn together in a basic dress style with no embellishments or stylings or anything at all with a rope ties around it
That's an issue I notice alot with Queens having breast plates, they always have to put something around the seam to hide it so it never allows their necks to be open up and elongate their shape
The fact that Gerogeous won this episode had me wanting to throw my remote control through the TV. it was one of the most obvious examples i've ever seen of producers forcing a narrative/victory when it didn't belong at all. it had me wondering why I even watch the show if it's not an actual competition in the first place.

Bob predicting "let's have the top two lip-sync!" the day before this twist made me lol. I know it was about Jorgeous but it was almost word for word. These producers can't outsmart ya sister girl
It's funny that Vander says she has been slower to engage with this season. To me, that was the case with season 13 and 12. 14 is the most interesting season since 11 (and I know that many fans don't like 11, but the challenges were great and the cast was real with their feelings).
I actually thought season 12 was one of the best seasons in the series I thought the cast was very very strong. I didnt enjoy 11 and 13 (especially hated 13), I like this season more than those.
Great episode! How cool,to get Vander Von Odd’s reactions to Drag Race. Really great. I think it’s especially cool to see the cerebral side of this very talented queen.
I agree with Bob 1000000% in jasmines lipsync I did feel that desperation, and I feel like from what we saw in untucked, we wouldn’t have seen that desperation. It’s really only when a Queen is nervous or trying to accommodate any way they create that scene on stage.
As a fellow invisible illness/disability person, it stung that no one paused and gave willow some scissors. Like it’s not even asking for the moon, just so she has an equal chance as the other girls. It just hit home how we are usually ignored with our struggles. But I had ZERO doubt about her in this challenge. I knew she was gonna turn it.
Bob you nailed it for me, the lip sink was crazy, Jasmine was all over the place..She was all out of sink and looked really desperate. Mattie for me, lip 💋sink to me showed she knew how to perform the words with her lips ( my opinion for that reason she should had won) it.
lmao “rupaul is particularly unhinged this season” from Vander is so funny considering they won the show where the bottom queens have to eat bugs and paintball each other
I always love your honest opinions and your guest’s opinion!!! I didn’t know about Vander before this! She’s great!!! Like everyone on social media, I love Jorgeous but Lady Camden should have won this week.
The most wild thing about this win is how Michele did not said the iconic "its a piece of fabric wrapped around your body, its not fashion and not a garment" and didnt put her in the bottom for that
Angeria's dress looks so much like a Barbie doll dress I used to have in the 90's and I love it. Wish I could find a picture of it because when she walked out in that it blew my mind.

Bob predicting "let's have the top two lip-sync!" the day before this twist made me lol. I know it was about Jorgeous but it was almost word for word. These producers can't outsmart ya sister girl
I hope when Dia Betty goes home, you get Crystal Method for that episode
Well Tamar, she already went home.
What makes you think she wont win? 👁👄👁
Oh ho! You lil' creature of the shade, love it.
"when" I spat my drink out
I hope she enters the work room crying. And yes...shes definitely going home. They are editing her as a villian.
“This week the top two will be lip synching because I just want to see it.” Bob smelled the Daytona Winds comin’.
Never would have thought I'd see the day!!! Vander Von Odd looks AMAZING, as per usual!
Always clicking for Bob. Miss Roberta keeps us fed
10-11-13-15 are all boring. 12 and 14 are the only good ones from the newer seasons.
Great episode! How cool,to get Vander Von Odd’s reactions to Drag Race. Really great. I think it’s especially cool to see the cerebral side of this very talented queen.
Vander Von sounds so articulate and informed. Love it.
Vander Van Odd went straight to the point during the runway looks in each garment and I love it
I love how Roberta vibes with everyone she brings onto her show.
not Bob's throat fucked up again 😭
maybe it's the covid 😭
thank u for pointing out jasmine’s desperation in the lipsync lol it was not giving what she thought it was
Vander really knows what they’re talking about it’s so inspiring to listen to how their brain works and perceives drag
Now this is the guests I’ve been waiting on also. I love Dragula a ton! Always great to see Vander!!
omg bob was spot on describing jasmine's desperation in the lipsync
Vander gave great commentary about the episode, especially from a more outsider performer perspective. Thanks for having them on
Love you always Bob! Vander was such a great guest, and their voice is so perfect, wish y'all could collab on a podcast!
VANDERRR gosh they're stunning, great guest!!! Thanks Bob and co for the food
So glad you mentioned about willow struggling I felt so bad and yeah she should have been in the top and jorgeous should not have won
MORE DRAGULA CONTESTANTS PLEASE BOB!!! we’re HERE for it
What a wonderful guest! I’ve never had the pleasure of watching Dragula but now I really want to watch it!!
Bob you nailed it for me, the lip sink was crazy, Jasmine was all over the place..She was all out of sink and looked really desperate.
Mattie for me, lip 💋sink to me showed she knew how to perform the words with her lips ( my opinion for that reason she should had won) it.
Kerri Colby's has had such funny lines. I lost it at "I don't have a problem with Daya nor no Bettica."
5:07 I love it 😂👏🏾💯
Ru is particularly unhinged this season & I’m totally *HERE FOR IT*
It’s great that Bob is giving underrepresented queens a platform. Dida Ritz and now Vander Von Odd?!
Dida is one of the best lip syncers to ever Grace DR.
lmao “rupaul is particularly unhinged this season” from Vander is so funny considering they won the show where the bottom queens have to eat bugs and paintball each other
Bob just understands the assignment every single time!
Bringing the icon, the legend of Vander to this particular runway has given me all the life! Thank you bob!
dude I love Vander!!!!!! seeing you two together makes me so freaking happy
Absolutely LOVE when Bob says “WILD”
I always love your honest opinions and your guest’s opinion!!! I didn’t know about Vander before this! She’s great!!! Like everyone on social media, I love Jorgeous but Lady Camden should have won this week.
She's on season 1 of Dragula (:
check out dragula!! its a great display of alternative drag 💞
Bob needs to write a book called "When You Give a Queen a Breastplate..."
Bob killing it with the guests, love Vander Von Odd!
Yas I'm sooo excited to hear from Vander! I'd love to hear/see more interactions with Dragula dolls!
This crossover was smooth. Like sipping iced sweet tea, with your girl, on the front porch.
The most wild thing about this win is how Michele did not said the iconic "its a piece of fabric wrapped around your body, its not fashion and not a garment" and didnt put her in the bottom for that
I love seeing vander. So glad to see them here. I love seeing the shows collide. Love these two! Would love to see more of this
The foreshadowing w what bob was talking about w Jasmine’s lip synch for the lip synch lalapaRUza
I havent watched Dragula even though Ive been meaning to but I LOVED Vander Von Odd in this, great video!!
lady camden getting recognition makes sense with my fantasy 😍
I agree with Vander on her first impressions. I'm having trouble getting into this season. Kornbreads exit gutted me.
Bob!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ We love you!!! Thank you for this and for bringing our favourite queens like Dida and Vander on your platform ❤️❤️❤️
This duo is everything to me. My two favorite winners ever 💕
I love Vander! Thanks for having them!
Angeria's dress looks so much like a Barbie doll dress I used to have in the 90's and I love it. Wish I could find a picture of it because when she walked out in that it blew my mind.
I'm living for Vander Von Odd! Great look and discussion :)
Can't freaking wait to see what Willow does with the Snatch Game!!!
I’d love to see Vander do a review show of her own. She’s such an insightful judge of the art of drag. 👌🏼
Love your show! So happy to see Vander as a guest!
POV: you got the notification a few minutes past midnight
I know it’s not her “brand” but I would love to see vander on drag race just to see her costumes and how she’d interpret the challenges cus I am obsessed with her!!!
No one:
Bob watching Nat Geo: This is WILD.
I needed some Bob in my life, perfect timing!
Also you look gorgeous, that lilac? Lavender?
Looks so good on you. I also adore you for your brain too though, your commentary is always so quick, smart and hilarious. You can also read someone in such a way that they thank you after 😉. ♥️
Really that's the review always need to after watch every episode to drag race.... thanks Bob for joined this extraordinary queen to season one Dragula...
You are awesome BOB. Thank you for having Vander!!
THANK U for always having the best audio haha 😆
Jumping in right off the bat to say Bob, you look INCREDIBLY STUNNING
I live for both Vander and Bob so this is a match made in heaven
I swear my favorite thing in the world is Bob reenacting what the queens said lmao
Folks welcome back to the stage Bob The Throat Queen.
