      Not all men are as sweet and caring as yours. I was beaten and abused by my child’s father all through out my pregnancy just because he didn’t want a child and resented me for not getting an abortion. I left him when my child was born because he was a danger to both me and my newborn daughter.

      He was born 8/31/21 at 9:00am a month before his due date. He was really small born 4lbs and immediately hooked up to CPAP. His size was due to Placental Abruption. We were really worried for him, he stayed in the NICU for about a week and a half and needed Extra help breathing and eating. He is now home and is a happy healthy baby boy. He’s doing great, eating and breathing like a champ! He is now 6lbs, he also loves baths and tummy time! It feels just like yesterday I got the news that my fiancé was pregnant. I wasn’t sure how good I was going to be as a dad but I’m learning everyday👶💙

    My wife is currently at 10.5 weeks tomorrow and she is a nervous wreck. Her sister was unable to conceive so she is at a point where she is googling any little thing that pops up. It doesn't help that I am a pretty chill guy, while I understand her concerns I stay positive and optimistic. She says I don't understand her fears but I do. I try to tell her stress can only do harm and I've learned that isn't something I should say. She says that puts even more pressure on her. I'm not sure how to cope with this as I want to be supportive but don't want to fall into the stress and pessimism mentally.

    honest truth, my wife took her birth control as a part of her depression regimen. I am having a hard time dealing with constant mood swings and cooking and cleaning. I feel tired by the tossing and turning at night, working three jobs, and her new heightened senses. Honestly, we are 3 months in and I feel like I am falling apart. The pregnancy has forced her to stop working. So I am at a loss.

      Sounds like you may need a little self care. Taking either a small amount of time during the day or every so often to take a break and re-charge. Also both of may consider getting some professional help to talk through some of the things you are feeling and experiencing. You.can do it individually.

    Absolutely great video. I'm am excited about my son's birth were half way through. Wile I know this video is kinds old. I had to post this anyway. With all of the resent covid epidemic it's to say the least a very worrisome and unenjoyable experience for is both we are still excited for our first child. But the with everything closed it makes it hard for her cravings, we cant enjoy doctors appointments together. We just found out the gender and I couldn't even attend. she didnt get to hear the heart beat she was notified of the gender and that it was healthy no weight or measure ments. This is all things I belive to very important for parents especially mothers with bonding with the new to be child. Our doctors appointments are now canceled and now over the phone. I'm still hanging on to my positivity but I feel the excitement is soon going to drain for her. I would appreciate if you could do an update video. Maby some interview calls with some soon to be fathers and how they are holding up and things they are doing to deal with the situation. maybe some share of knowledge. I appreciate your videos thanks.

Bills are piling up. Now worried about the coming expenses. Still have about 3-months to go. The good things are my wife is healthy & happy, and so is the baby (my soon-to-be first born). Alright just moved to Cali with my girlfriend, 4 months in she’s now pregnant... 7 weeks today. I have a job that can pay well if I do the work, she doesn’t work we have bills up the wazoo. Finances is what we’re both scared of. We both don’t want to go into crazy debt, nor do we not want to be ready for the baby. What can I do in regards to finances to make this process easier? Every bit of what’s left over goes to our baby savings. And everything is planned out to the tee. We’re just barely scraping by. Do I get a second job? Do I sell my stuff? Do I quit my current job and get a crappier one that pays more?

    Im a first time father to be. And ik a parents first grandchild is very important to them. But how should i go about letting my babys mothers mother know that this thete certain things thats is the parent right n responsibility to do. Such as setting up the 1st obgyn appointment and finding a doc to deliver our baby. Were only 8 weeks 2 days so were still early into it. But in my eyes i feel like the mother and myself should pick who delivers our baby. I feel like it should be somebody that her and myself should get to know and trust! Am i wrong?!? I know even tho its our baby we should still value others opinions n i truley do appricate her mom trying to help. But theres a difference between helping and takong control! So how/what is best way to let her mother know?

    • @DadUniversity

    What do i do, when the woman I'm with doesn't show me any affection? She doesn't return any of the love. She's always angry,and threatening me, holding me hostage with the pregnancy. She demands i make multiple changes and refuses to own up to any of her short comings. She circles all of our discussions towards things I've done wrong, completely ignoring my side of the situation. I can't do this...i can't be her punching bag any longer. What do i do?

    • @rabmanrabman
      @rabmanrabman 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You need to get some distance. Ive been dealing with the same exact thing. Weve lived together the entire pregnancy and ive done literally everything. Supported her completely all by myself while she has done absolutely nothing. Given her everything shes asked for and served her every beck and call and have seen basically zero apreciation for any of it. She finally got a job that she starts in a couple weeks and were due in july and since then shes acted like i havent done a single thing lol like somehow someone or something else has paid for everything and done everything. My biggest problem is that i take things too personally so i get really upset after this nagging goes on for like 3 or 4 days straight while ive politely and calmy put up with it and i just lose it and we have another fight. Well i cant take it anymore. Im a very understanding and communicative person and she has virtually 0 communication skills so getting through to hear is nearly impossible. I made her go stay back with her mother for now otherwise im afraid i might literally snap and do something theres no turning back from. Ive got alot of self control but this woman is something else. Well anyways were not around each other 24/7 anymore and i think not having it so good has kind of opened her eyes a little to how good she had it and now we see each other every couple of days and things have gotten so much better. I didnt have a clue it would work this way either i thought we were done but finally getting space from each other has done wonders and i think everything might be okay now. Im no professional but this is my experience with an exceptionally difficult woman lol

    • @rabmanrabman
      @rabmanrabman 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way i see it. Her "want" to see you has to be stronger than her urge to complain about something miniscule. And dont stay together for any periods long enough for her to "get her fill" of your time and start looking at anything to go off about. Make your time together precious so that she learns to appreciate it and not feel like you will just always be there no matter what she does. Its also very tricky though if you dont do it just right you could very well set her off by trying this and push her away too much making your problem worse or lose her all together. I guess it just comes down to how much youve had. Because like i said i was done it was over as far as i was concearned and then splitting up changed things. Maybe she realized she didnt want to lose me who knows. But if you're not prepared to lose her you might not want to take my advice

      If you wanna know more about my particular situation please feel free to contact me directly. It sounds like youve been in a pretty similar situation. I dont know you or your woman but mine is particularly complex. She has alot of past trauma making causing her to have issues. Maybe you can relate... Idk. But ppl like to joke about their pregnant wives and act like they've been through the same shit but i assure you they have not lol my situation is far from normal. Shes been through a whole lot in her life and is dealing with it the best she can and hasnt had the privilege to experience certain things to teach her healthy coping mechanisms ect. Shes had virtually no good role models her entire life no one to teach her how to be an adult mentally and emotionally

    • @rabmanrabman
      @rabmanrabman 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im also extremely curious to hear someone with more knowledge' reply. I doubt my methods are anywhere near a good option but i did the only thing i could to protect both of us and while its probably not even remotely the best choice it just so happened to be more progressive than not so idk. Just whatever you do dont be one sided about it. Stay strong stay positive be compassionate and dont be a dick because even though she might be ruthless she is still pregnant and the woman you (im assuming) fell in love with. Its going to be completely up to you to figure out how to finesse the situation just right and be the bigger person no matter what happens. Try to understand that its not her fault. Dont put blame anywhere. She needs your help now more than ever and theres a very thin line between pushing her away and pulling her closer with every little thing said or done

    • @rabmanrabman
      @rabmanrabman 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Try to reach her empathy. Let her know that you want to give her everything she wants and needs from you but you're just struggling to do so exactly how she wants it. Try to come to some agreements. Show her you're making an effort and ask her to bare with you. Explain to her that you know you're not perfect but you really do want to be. After all she is just human like yourself and the rest of us.

    Hi I'm a 32year old pregnant woman.. i know this video is for men but I need help from anyone at this point. i'm 16 weeks pregnant with my second child. My husband and and I each have 1 child a piece that we had in our early adulthood so we don't remember much about this process... lately we have been bumping heads because he feels like i'm not very nice to him.. it's been a constant argument since I got pregnant but i'm really trying..i truly feel like im doing my best to give him the love and affection he needs but it seems like it isn't enough... i'm just not in the mood to joke around like he's ALWAYS doing.. he gets on my nervous and i feel like im not getting the kind of affection I would like so it pushes me away. i was on your page trying to get a better understanding of what men may be going through to find help, any suggestions?

      You are both going through stuff. It sounds like you both need to be more empathetic towards the other person. If your relationship is strong except for during the pregnancy then ok. But I'm guessing there are underlying issues. I may suggest you seek a local counselor who can dig a little deeper. Also see if your husband is willing to watch some of these videos. Maybe you can watch them together and then have respectful conversation about it

Apperantly I have fallen out of love and dont want to talk to her. I screenshotted the whole convo and sent it to my close friends group chat. They all (even the ladies) reassured im a really good guy and she isn't seeing what im doing. One of my friends told me its just her hormones. ""No the baby ate half"" lol... now I just make sure our freezer has plenty of the flavors she likes that I dont care for... hoping that my chocolate therapy or brownie batter survive the night... most times they don't :(

    Could you do a video on mothers who tend to exclude the fathers efforts or help and or saying it’s only her pregnancy and leaving fathers feeling left out and worthless and how although mothers are going through a lot of changed and sacrifices it’s important they at times let the father know it’s not how they really feel it’s just a mood swing or what not cause for me it’s hard to tell especially being a new relationship to tell if that’s how she really feels or if it’s a mood swing. Also I don’t wanna complain but how do you communicate feeling felt out and not even treated like their loving support system and appreciative of it . With out sounding like your complaining because I find it hard to support when your constantly bein told how you do nothing how bad you are but your doing everything and more you could think of…. I would say that our Dave Ramsey debt snowball has to come to a hault until baby comes...(May)
    My wife nor i really like the field we are in...i would like to get involved in rental property investing so eventually she and i can get out of the hospital... i will be a "Mr. Mom"... everytime i try and make a 5-10 year plan to benefit my family... i feel my pregnant wife unintentionally tends to "rain on that parade" with a comment like "i dont know what you expect... we have no money for a down payment and we have to save for baby...."
    I look at paying off her car and student loan is freeing up >$700 a month... a nice stream of excess cash for baby...
    She looks at a pile of cash in savings as more of a security....
    Same goal... two means of accomplishing it

      I would bring her to a doctor and see exactly what is causing the pain. It could be extra weight, her posture, or other issues. It's best to have a doctor evaluate it. As for foods, same thing. Have a nutritionist or specialist help create a meal plan.
