Awesome storytelling... As always... First garage sale for my wife and I tomorrow, as we begin unloading all of our accumulated stuff, getting ready to sell our house, buy a smaller investment property, buy a 40 foot monohull and set off on a sailing adventure until we get too old to sail. Thanks for the inspiration Delos.
Magnus Rassy (owner of Hallberg Rassy yachts from Sweden) tells the story that their main competitor is not other boat builders, but wives, who don't like the boat or the idea of a sailing life. Consequently, some aspiring ship's captains go away without having ordered their dream boat. Some of those return a year later with a new wife and place their order for their new Hallberg Rassy. :-)
Don't change a thing, this is the best therapy for fools like me who waited too long to chase there inner adventurer and are now wallowing in middle class boredom at age 58. If you are ever in south Florida let us know...my brother has a Beneteau 43 and we sail the Bahamas, Caribbean and even to Belize and North Cuba. I do believe the East Indies where you all are sailing is the best. Miss those Aussie and Kiwi girls.
Brian and Brady! Two quintessential Mans Men!! Add the sea faring captian/jack of all trades/ classic gentleman providers. This is what real men are made of. Fearless to something like the ocean. In its full uncut form. This is what life is about living! I hope to live life as full as you do, one day again.
Awesome! My 2 cents- really like when u add the little touches like the animations when you tell the story of a new place. Also, I've heard the intro song over 100 times and never get tired of it. The intros are always awesome.
It's nice to see shades of Kiril's editing style continuing in the videos. I like the kind of "music video" segments, they serve well to tie other story segments together. And, they give us an additional few moments of what we're all really here for: the minutia of sailing. I like it. I like it a lot! :)
You guys are truly "Bad Ass" sailors. 30 to 40 kn winds?? The other cruisers are huggin' their honeys, boats huddled in safe harbor, while Delos' crew is casually headed out on another new adventure. If it's possible to wear out a sailboat, one day Delos will be worn down to a shiny little nub. I have a lot of respect for you all and send you a boat load of love.
This is why Delos is my favorite. Bashing in 30+ knots, remote atoll, chill...Actually doing it, instead of just talking about it, or staying in a nice comfy anchorage with a hundred other boats. My kind of sailors. Only suggestion: replace that CQR with a new generation Spade :)
I don't get the "time lag" complaints... I am looking forward to every new clip because it is more than I had 20 mins ago...and it is soo good...every time without fail.
You three, plus your visitors on board, inspire so-so many people! Plus you bring approx. 30 minutes of freedom and fun to into our life and world which is a release from the daily grind to hundreds of thousands and that amount is insane. All of us that watch your excellent vlogs we look forward to it every week, you amaze us all. I believe I speak for SO many in saying THANK YOU!!!!
For sure one of the best videos capturing the wonderful way Delos reacts to/with the ocean. I am supremely grateful for the many ocean and yacht combination shots. Karin is so comfortable with the boat on her own during watch. My gosh she has really come a long way to becoming a true sailor with incredible expertise. And, the many shots of her beautiful countenance make me believe she could have been Miss World. Never a better video. Thanks so very much. I can play it over and over.
I just love it. Clear skies, sandy beaches, and isolated places beyond the yachty trails. I sit here arm chair sailing right along with you guys through your videos. Thanks a million.
Another excellent video. I noticed that Carmen was sitting in the cockpit in a way that meant that she would have to resist the motion of the boat. This is a recipe for sea sickness. My uncle taught me many years ago to always sit with one's back to the lee side of the boat so that when the hull powers into a wave one can relax and lean into it. If one sits on the windward side one is always tensing against the motion and that stress contributes to seasickness. The same applies in one's bunk; back to the lee side. Hope this is useful information.
@@DavidTangye Agreed. And I see this in so many sailing vlogs, crew sick with no one taking the wheel because it seems they don't want to disturb auto pilot. You would think everyone knows that taking the helm leads to quicker recovery than simply gazing out toward the horizon, focus being the difference.
The music/video montages made me really happy. It obviously took someone a quick minute to make those so thanks. They remind me most of my crossings. Not a continuous memory but snippits of moments and when that song comes on that was basically the anthem for the trip all of those moments come crashing back into memory and a smile lights up your face. Keep on living!
Beautiful place. I enjoy watching your videos because you are doing something I could never do, because I would be sea sick often. It amazes me that with as much sailing the crew has done, that you still get sea sick sometimes. It is a testament to your adventurous spirit that you continue onward even though you get sick . Thanks for sharing your adventure. I am currently on episode 117 and hoping to catch up to current days soon.
I really enjoy the segment where you're creeping all over the boat with the camera and the cool music setting the tone. We need more of that creative cool video . You're really good at it. Thanks for the great entertainment !
Karin. Du är en väldigt positiv och stark tjej som aldrig klagar utan bara kör på. Ser ut att verkligen njuta av upplevelsen. Grattis till ett minne för livet. Få förunnat. Kör hårt!!
This video rocks!!! Not one, but two amazing Swedish women! Your video production quality is amazing. Very easy to live vicariously through your excellent videos! Thank you....... and it might just be time to buy you guys some more barley pops...
only channel I let the ad play through. 6:57 On the other sailing channels I never here this kinda of talk....I suppose comparatively I mean "sailing" channels. Really wish Brady finished that off with an rrrrrr. This is definitely a top 5 episode!! Brady that montage of travel with music edit was just awesome...it actually made me feel excited...which is weird for an "old guy" watching a YT vid....speaks to your skills here!!
Ahh, What Delos does best, "Explore the water's less sailed and having fun along the way" Meandering thru the Indian Ocean is an adventure dream of all us, feeding this wonder keeps us wanting more. You guys are like rock stars.
You guys are killing it! I remember watching the VOR and seeing the crash that shocked the sailing world. Can't wait to see more of this atoll! Who cares if you are a year behind! The videos and the adventures are so much better than any sailing channel trying to stay up to date on videos or even those months behind!
I'm as far away from the sea as possible here in Boise, Idaho. Despite that your amazing videos are keeping me smiling through some of the roughest times of my life. Just want to give a heartfelt thanks for helping me feel good even when it should be impossible to do so.
Great sailing action ! I guessed that was the Volvo crash area ! You would think they had enough electronics and night vision gear to know what they were sailing into ! The new girl looks like a keeper 😘
I've been hooked on these videos. It has really inspired me to live like this again. I used to travel on the cheap in my early 20 s. But never around the world. And what better way then to sail. Literally using the earth mother nature to move you. Most of the time. Stay blessed
SV Delos. Crew, a most fabulous video blog entry !! You are the team taking this "new" genre to the extream level while everybody else is still in the Caribbean! Love it. :-)
SV Delos, I've watched every episode so far and this one by FAR is the most well produced and filmed one yet!! Excellent work and thanks for the inspiration.
So cool Brian, Kazza, Brady and Camilla!!! Fair winds guys and safe travels and as always, thanks sooooo much for sharing guys!!! You made my day today,Robert
I feel like I am gaining so much experience aka Delos and this is how I learn everything.....by watching....you are giving a course in sailing whether you realize it or not........I think I shall need to contribute

I love that footage of Delos under sail. Just awesome, well framed and it just keeps stoking the desire to get out there. Another fab episode. Keeps me inspired!

You guys are really living a dream! Lots of us are right there with you. Like the spot you are in. How awesome the space is. Barely a bit of land, wind blown, sticking up into the sky from the ocean. The sky, land and ocean all melded together, then drop you guys in the middle. I don't think it gets much better than that. Drone footage coming up? How is the diving? I bet not much to see but each other. By the looks of things that's not bad at all either! My wife and I will be gearing up for our next adventure soon. We have been retired for a bit now and are getting an RV and heading out. We live on the east coast of the US and will make our way to the west coast with no specific rout or timetable. Lots to see in the USA. So you guys keep taking us to cool places, doing cool things. BTW, I liked how you showed sailing through the rough windy conditions. You conveyed the feeling of time passing really well, and the transition to morning.

This video without a doubt the best of course I say that with every new video you put out, all too true though always innovating and it works just beautiful lots of work but the results awesome

I watch a few sailing channels, but what I really like about Delos is the balls and all attitude of ...40 knot winds? might be a bit rough but lets go. True sailors. Great work guys, keep it up. Buy the way, anyone notice the difference in Karen? Just can't put my finger on it, but she appears to look a lot more .......mature? Maybe like a fine wine, getting better with age. Again, great work .
Yes...Karin is growing on me....I always thought that she was too "wooden"....but she is a Trojan and works her butt off......and seems to be growing a personality!
Yes, they know their boat and use it like it it´s ment for :-) I also found Karin to have a more direct attitude and stronger apperance than I´m used to in this episode - and I like it!
michael wilding....Like fine wine, getting better with age.........and, to borrow a phrase from our British friends......the nicest bum to grace the decks of Delos.
My take is that the entire vibe has been much better since the old crew left. Remember, we are seeing a very limited amount of what actually goes on. It may be that Karin wasn't that happy with the girls on board. I noticed when they were sailing after dropping them off in Madagascar and just relaxing, it seemed like Brady, Brian and Karin all came more alive again. Karin seems more relaxed and less shut down. She's the Queen Bee of Delos. All others are her minions. I like this new setup with short term crew, with the core trio. Let's see if the new girl doesn't mess up the vibe. She seems to be very self contained and not to affect the vibe. I hope so. I may be completely wrong. But I think there probably is a lot more to the story of how the old crew ended up leaving. Just sayin'...
Great videos guys, and Brian and kazza I can see how much you love each other but it is so nice to see some affection between the two of you sometimes!!!!
Awesome storytelling... As always... yes! Heard him say that on Andy Schell's podcast. Taking family sailing for the first time this August... wish me luck!
Top UK Photographer . Your family sailing plans sound interesting. Backstory anywhere?
That snip of Karen in the kitchen in the beginning of the video is delightful. So natural and nice she is.
1. put life on hold
2. watch delos video
3. thumbs up delos video
4. resume normal life....
ccjkk1
5. look at normal life and wonder why can't I be exploring the world?

At least I do :)

Best sailing channel hands down........my favorite are the people that make up the Delos Family.
Brady is like my little sister, loves to be heard, loves to be seen, always goofing around to get attention. : )
How can you not love these guys.
sunset through the water beaded glass to a slow fade ! superb ! these movies are really getting good ya'll !
Brian and Brady are great Americans. I can't think of two better guys to represent the USA while travelling around the world by sail.
Thanks for taking to places we never knew existed.

Another great episode from the Delos crew.

Camilla!!! What a trooper. Sick as a can be and still smiling. Way to go!!!
I always love Delos Day, you take me to places l will never get to see myself, 👍,Thanks for letting us ride along with your crew.

I have never seen a beach atoll that that looks as nice as that beach.
that pure white bird with the black eye feet and beak looked incredible. nice shot, thank you. @ 8:43

What an extraordinary life you guys get to live. I wish I was that adventurous. So cool I am envious
Damn it i smile each time Brady says first thing in the morning. an capt bryan says like it i like it alots. be safe guys ill keep watching.
VERY EPIC on the list of burger locales...brought tears to my eyes. Well played Delos...very well played.
I just love it. Clear skies, sandy beaches, and isolated places beyond the yachty trails. I sit here arm chair sailing right along with you guys through your videos. Thanks a million.
Great video as usual guys, it's cool to see how Kiril's film making skills have rubbed off on the Delos crew. Keep up the good work.
Another excellent video.

Andrew C. Ballantine I always found that if I kept drinking, I never got sea sick, but that could lead to other problems.
Yes, and I wondered why she didn't take the helm for a while. That usually helps, along with watching the horizon. Perhaps she did.

be careful with that fire, don't let it get out of control. Looks like a fun time. great video. thanks. burgers look delish.
Whoa. 8:23 -> super trippy :D, like.. compass inception and depth of field, howling winds and that music to go with it. Nice edit!
I liked the binocular effect. It reminded me of every Chuck Norris move-ever. Happy Sailing!
America Day and Morristown NJ Fire Dept. Shirt. Awesome. Love your effort to document your travels. Thank you. RTP

(beer stock) " enough to have 3 a day" Lol @ Brady! "BACON" AWESOME you guys rock!! Fair winds from Arkansas!
Is it just me or have your videos gone to amazing high quality movies in the last six months awesome
Thanks a lot guys . Hey san Sverige fran Amsterdam.
Great to wake up to a new video. - Fair winds all! Thanks for rocking it!
Comparing the cinematic quality and editing skills of this episode (especially from 8:23 - 10:55) with that of the first episodes, is like comparing a Lincoln to a Lamborghini. Your skills, patience, and attention to detail is very commendable. That's how life should be: Strive to improve upon your successes. Love you guys. Keep up the awesome work. Cheers.
Love your life guys, heading in that direction myself.
Loved the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag cameo at 15:55
Beautiful story about sailing around the world it’s super awesome ,many thanks all the time.
Félicitations pour ces images vraiment magnifiques une fois de plus !Merciiiiiiiiiiiiii !
"What happened to all the beer?!?"
Dang. These vids just keep getting better 'n' better!
You bro's really have the world by the 'nads... Delos, atoll, two gorgeous, buttery-smooth Svenska kvinnor, which type is among the finest ever made, imho.... Good on you!
Beach fashion at its best!
I watch a few sailing channels, but what I really like about Delos is the balls and all attitude of ...40 knot winds? might be a bit rough but lets go. True sailors. Great work guys, keep it up. michael wilding....Like fine wine, getting better with age.........and, to borrow a phrase from our British friends......the nicest bum to grace the decks of Delos.
Yes Karin seems more confident lately.
I'm always looking forward to your videos. God bless you guys. I will pray always for your safety. Wow 10 months behind? I thought it was 6 months.
Awesome awesome awesome.
Delos created a new holiday American Day. Happy 4th of July Brady........
Well done crew.
Hahah I love Brady's fire-lighting technique
Great videos guys, and Brian and kazza I can see how much you love each other but it is so nice to see some affection between the two of you sometimes!!!!
It looks like we are out there with you guys, so cool
Out Standing video one of the best! Delos is a beast!
No it is an Angel
This much more the story line that we like and love. Good work all involved!
I LIVE vicariously through the Delos crew and these videos! Thanks guys for inspiring!
Awesome folks!
Wohoooo! Day is saved!!!
