Hired by Deceive Inc to steal the package, Octo must grab keycards and field upgrades to complete the mission.
For this mission we've chosen the following loadout:
Octo's Weapon 1: Pulpo | Hipfire BS 10, Hipfire HS 20, ADS BS 20, ADS HS 20 | Mag Size 5 | Reload Speed 1.8s | Rate of Fire 1.65shots/s | Damage falloff hip: 20m-30m(60%) | ADS Shots cost 1 intel instead of regular ammo, and reload your gun | Damage falloff ads: None.
Octo's Expertise 1: Cashing Out | Instant | CD 60s | Hack all Intel devices in a cone in front of Octo and reboot all Intel devices that have already been hacked, allowing them to be hacked again.
Octo's Passive 1: Edging Your Bets | Whenever Octo spends Intel there is a (5-50%) chance for Octo to gain it back based on the difference between your current intel and max intel. You will have a 25% chance at a 10 intel difference and a 50% at a 20 intel difference.
Along with the following Gadgets:
GooPod: Places a device that creates goo slowing everyone in the area by 30%. Device can be destroyed. Cooldown: 30s or 0s on pickup.
BounceMat: Places a bounce pad that can bounce you and others upwards. Auto deflates after 1.3s. Cannot be reinflated after deflation for 1s. Cooldown: 60s on destroy or 0s if picked back up.

I tried this with Octo and was very lucky with my gambles that I fully made it out without pinging, it was a satisfying feeling
i ADORE octo!!! despite all of his weapons feeling super gummy/anemic all of his passives and expertises are so fun to play with
Some of that was a very cautious walk. I thought it was because you were Octo. Bad gun = caution.
But, then you waltzed out of a double-Madam trap while publicly traced. Later on, you straight up eradicated Chavez. You even won that lopsided battle against Red where she had every advantage. Impressive. Doesn't look the gun is a problem for you!

In this game, ambushing is the most powerful stuff you can do, and the best tactic I could think about that is ambushing centered is Hans, with Hack Trap and Drone. I think you should try it, it is quite some fun, chasing someone down, and shooting them in the back/face with Hans.
I have a feeling you might already know this, but you can enable toggle navigation mode through the settings. This way you don't have to keep holding down the Q button and it'll make it much easier for your you to navigate the map.

Yep! I saw that confirmed somewhere *after* I recorded this, but you are correct!
I feel like Octo’s weapons need a rework, minus weapon 3: using the base fire is a direct detriment to yourself, which negates the whole “reloads ammo” gimmick of the intel shots
I actually really like his first and third weapons, its just the playstyle of the second weapon in Solo's doesn't really work, the large charge time just isn't worth it in fights except as an opener. There's some quality of life updates I'd like, for example if I'm out of intel and try to ADS shot, just shoot normally instead of doing nothing
How do you find the time to play everyday I wonder, especially get good enough games to post
While it didn't actually happen for this one, often times I'll record several videos worth of games on the weekend, and schedule them daily for that week. Also I'm just in a position where I can find or make the time to do this as a hobby

I really only play Solo's, though my goals for the future are getting a stream schedule and setting up a discord for that so I can play with viewers sometimes, sadly I don't have a timeline on that yet.
