My senior prom dress gave me all the princess vibes. It came with a hoop skirt and everything! It was only $80 on Amazon and I got sooooo many compliments on it!!
So I went to prom in '09 and I wouldn't have been allowed to wear 80% of these dresses lol. No low cut, no cleavage, no high slits, no low backs, no tube top style dresses, nothing too short (arm length test was done a LOT).
The second dress would be really cute if you added a lace piece at the top of the slit to make it more appropriate and since the dress is cheap it would be very doable!! 💕
