A couple of points to keep in mind about that "Abbot and Costello "routine ... and ABSOLUTELY NO this is NOT a "knock" on Chris Tucker or even Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, it's just a bit of historical background about how ALL comedy has ALWAYS worked going all the way back to at LEAST the Greeks #1 Abbott and Costello spent more than THIRTY YEARS (probably by the time they recorded the televised "retired actor's home" version it was closer to forty years) performing and perfecting that routine...there are clips on YT of them doing earlier versions of this routine and thanks to YT you now can kinda see how it evolved. A few weeks ago I "ran across" a YT video of Fluffy Iglesias doing a CLEARLY much much earlier and less refined and developed and perfected version of "The Gift Basket" than the one he finally felt was ready for a "one hour special" that we will now all forever be able to watch him perform in his "Aloha Fluffy" Amazon Prime special. and #2 Knowing what I know about the history and mythology/legend of Vaudeville it's HIGHLY probable that even Abbott and Costello didn't "originate" this "routine", they just worked out a version of the routine that was so much better than everyone else's who were also trying to "steal" this routine from the original creators😂😂😂 ... so Chris Tucker being inspired to create a version of his own would be ENTIRELY appropriate and if they had still been alive to see it I feel pretty comfortable saying that they both would have LAUGHED THEIR ASSES OFF through this entire scene. In fact I'm pretty sure that Mel Gibson and Danny Glover and/or Joe Pesci have a "version" of "Who's On First" in one of the Lethal Weapon movies. Flip through each of the "late night" comedians on any given night (and again thank you YT) and it is EXTREMELY RARE that you won't see nearly EVERY ONE OF THEM doing practically the EXACT SAME PUNCHLINE(S) about the exact same current event(s) of the day😮😂

As someone with the same last name as "Yu" in the military.... boot camp was exactly this....
Thank you for your service. P.S. If I was still in and I served with you I probably would've joined in on the joke. But that's just Mi. You do Yu.😄
I love comedy like this, so stupid, but so funny 😂
I miss it so much! They don't make them like this anymore. I miss those Jim Carey, Steve Martin, Steve Carell, Eddie Murphy type moviesz🥹

Yes but to me Stephen chow was the king of dumb comedy and hell I f love it!.
This is my son's and my favorite scene. We've laughed at this bit many times over the years. 😂 "I'm kicking everybody's @ss!" 😂😂
the best who's on first play in a movie...gotta respect the original, they played this perfectly.
"Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?"
Plot twist, the tall guy name is Him😭
Don't know why they didn't continue making more rush hour movies..... They are just awesome and amazing 😂😂
Because Brett Ratner, the director, turned out to be pretty naughty.
And also, with people getting offended nowadays, i doubt it.
Because 1) Jackie Chan's always making movies in Hong Kong, and 2) Chris Tucker barely makes movies.
This is a modified version of the famous Abbott and Costello's"Who's on First" comedy sketch.
EXCATLY AND HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
To think, without Abbott and Costello, this moment may never have happened. It is great to see the influence of older comedy on more modern comedians.
This is a reminder of Abbott and Costello doing "Who's on first!" 😂😂
Imagine the thrill of watching this in theaters like the rest of us. 😂😂😂😂
Wow. The girl at 5:38 seems like a real joy to watch movies with lmao.
This is a hilarious version of 'who's on first" routine created by Abbott & Costello in the 1950s
A routine that never gets old.
