11:13 im new to poker so please explain why i could be wrong, but if you check here doesnt it show more as a trap then a small bet? would guess small betting here would make him think you're more likely bluffing. Trying to learn, if you or someone in the comments can answer id appreciate it much

Not shoving the turn with the set of 9s made no sense to me. The aggressor isn’t folding anything in that line and by calling you allow both him and sucra to realize equity and suck out. Pretty sick that the guy folded aces on the river, but with your line he beats nothing and it’s a great fold
I think it makes no sense to you because you're vacuuming the situation to this exact runout, with the exact hands each opponent had. What if Sucra had jammed turn and similarities called? Would we be having this discussion? What "bluffs" do we have if you thought about it, on the turn when we jam. What happens if say a King doesnt come on the river, a brick 3 perhaps, do you think he folds aces? What if he has KJ and just xc's to allow me to bluff?
What if I jam JTcc here and he folds Aces, is he now an idiot for folding? It's truly important to open your mind to the possibility that there are more than 1-2 hands a player can have in a situation, as well as factor each streets range. I'd actually argue it's an infinitely easier fold on turn with aces then it is on river if I jam.
@@Egption I get it. Yes, obviously it’s easy for me to sit here and be a comment pro. Just pointing out I think the play is bad on the turn because you allow sucra to realize any back door equity he has and don’t get max value from the aggressor who mostly likely has a king. Put your opponents to the decision when you have them, instead of allowing the runout to affect the action. Nothing wrong with the way you played it be sneaky, just my opinion

It's just a hobby for me now, I jump on at night 4 or 5 times a week for fun.

Yesterday i was in the sunday hundred grand through a sattelite and got into the money i wanted to ask you about my play
I was in the BB with 20 bb and SB (Chipleader) opened to 3 bb i had a5s and i jammed over his steal, he had QQ 😂 was this a punt ? I thought chipleader should've a lot of snap folds, around 600 people were left in the tourney as i busted and i was in the middle of the field
Just because he's chip leader doesnt instantly mean he's therefore agressive. Plenty of nits cardrack and get gifted spots. In theory it's never going to be bad, but I'd prefer jamming A5o and calling A5s personally.
