Chinese chefs in Msia and Spore still have quite a way to go before being taken seriously. Premium dish doesn’t become such just because you stuff your food to the rafters with premium ingredients: there needs to be nuanced and suitable pairing with the rest of the ingredients, especially when you venture to try a variation on traditional dishes like Peking Duck etc. That huge slab of foie gras in a Peking Duck wrap is utterly grotesque, crude and disrespectful of the classic dish. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

哇！！！今天这个影片我就很喜欢，每一道菜看到都流口水。重点是在吉隆坡，过年可以去吃。我喜欢的Joeman也是拍这些豪华餐馆的，但他在台湾，我只能看，不能吃，后来就不看了。你们的影片，看得到，也吃得到。其实中价位的餐馆我也喜欢，但要有特色。之前你们拍过在Shopping Mall的中价位日本餐，我感觉吉隆坡的Shopping Mall里有太多这样的餐馆，就批评了一下，结果你们就开始拍鑊氣之王了。鑊氣之王刚开始还行，但后来就是廉价加卖相普通的餐馆，我就很不喜欢。
