@@northrailproductions yeah. Except in the fall and when NEGS needs help. Outside of those 2 instances, it’s elusive. Also, apparently 1186 runs frequently too. It’s just that it hasn’t been caught on tape with footage of its horn for some reason.
@@MichaelByers.3804 Correct on not a boring chase. Actually it will become a historic chase as the Vermont Rail System will be taking over the NEGS as soon as the regulatory paperwork gets approved. I have not seen whether the NEGS 2555 is part of the sale or will get a new owner elsewhere.
@@rickledges4412 Wait, so VRS actually is taking it over?! I thought that was just speculation. Do you know when it will happen? I've wanted to chase them for a while, but never have. I guess I should chase soon. Do you know how often they run? Sorry about all the questions but I want to catch them at least once before this happens.
Very cool video! It’s sad that the only trains these rails see are the scenic ones, but better than nothing! Glad the line is still active.
Those ties and rails were like ,"these aren't excursion cars Ouch!!!!!!"
This is awesome! I was just reading about this move in RailPace Magazine. I was hoping that someone video taped it and here it is! Nice job
302: operates
Everyone: *wait that’s illegal*
I think you’re thinking of 1186
True but 302 also barely operates

The shot at 10:28 is the shot that is in Rail Pace Magazine.
Great job 👍 I love the sound of EMD'S.
Thanks
That GP7 sure sounds good!
Sweet video Eli
Awesome chase!!
Thanks!!
@@MBTAPanAmRailfan No problem!
Interesting video my friend! How often does the P&L do these freight moves?
The last time they moved ties was last year also for this tie project. Actual revenue hasn't run in maybe a decade or two.
Northern New England Rail Productions Oh interesting. I assume as the tie project goes on there will be more of these moves? Or no?
@@auto8productions491 No this is the last of the ties and the project is beginning this summer.
Boring chase

It's not a boring chase. I thought it was interesting.

@@rickledges4412 All kinds of rumors floating around but I've heard 2555 is supposed to stay.
