Why Piracy Will Never Die

Piracy will live on for various reasons. If Movie Piracy was really hurting the industry, then why didn't it go under years ago? If Video Game Piracy was really hurting the industry, then why didn't it go under years ago? Also, does Piracy have an unintended consequence of being the best method of preservation? A lot of Movies and Video Games would be lost to time if it weren't for Piracy

Amazing how these corporate dipshits always do the wrong things to stop piracy and it ends up costing them even more money than had they did the easiest and most effective way to stop piracy and ignores them
People are willing to pay for content that is accessible and affordable.
The music industry understands this, and Spotify and Tidal killed music piracy damn near completely

The music industry goes even better after their "dark" decade since now people purchases back CD's and, especially, Vinyls & Audio Tapes as collectibles... Majors start to get greedy on those formats anyway when i see a Vinyl Album going for $25, $35 or even $50+ ! (And don't talk about limited editions).
So far the best format to get music is through CD. Is convenient, easy to rip to the computer and the price hasn't changed for years... around $10 to $15 now. It wouldn't take long before Majors will rise the price up as well.
But i will always remember when CD comes with... DRM which prevents people to listen their music on a Car radio or some equipments because... ...

Oh, it will die, for sure. At the same time copyright dies. Then copying stuff will be fully legal so it's no longer considered piracy.

If corporations can use ai to make films then that means anyone can use ai to make films and watch it for free.
