A nice.... "feature" of Illaoi's kit is that if you have only 40 mana, you can quickly press first Q and during the slam animation you can W for no mana because the game still thinks you had 40 mana instead of 0. The joys of maining the Tentacle Mommy.

Something important to note: The clone has it's own heartsteel proc, but doesn't share the cooldown between E casts. The clone is considered a completely new champion every time it's summoned, regardless if it's the same base champion over and over. So you can potentially get heartsteel stacks off E cooldown alone if you land it every time.

@@Zyrslo I mained her for a while, I got so many pentas with the E bait tactic, where 5 enemies chasing you in late game and E one of them and u keep walking (pretending ur still running away) and then u flash + Ult into your E when 5 of them are on top of it and boom, tentakill

Tried it a bunch as an illaoi main.
But if you can get opponents to stand still long enough to get heartsteel on your E. Oh boi you're playing the shortbus people.

As a Illaoi main this was my kind of game! Freaking love the moments when the enemy goes "Oh we got him now!" turning into "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!"

Its fair because the Shen could've taken like 10 steps and prevented him from getting 2 stacks
Do take into consideration that it looks like most of the enemy team seem to have 0 idea about side stepping Illaoi's Test of Spirit (E), so they kinda made it too easy for him 😂
As an illaoi main, I knew every single time you were gonna get a kill, and it brings my heart joy to see you get heartsteel second back and just walk over them. Good video!

The jinx came online at the end there. Illaoi taking so much aggro was perfect for em. Gets excited and start doing crazy damage. Honestly there was no hope in this game after about 5 mins. Shen messed up really bad getting bullied out of lane.

i mean, considering the % who plays toplane, Fiora is the most disgusting champion, since no1 plays illaoi but if so, she would be the number 1

everytime illoi makes a new clone she can stack it with heartsteel or proc any effect that has a unique timer for each champion because the clone is treated as a new champion target.

Illaoi is a nightmare to deal with but honestly id rather deal with illaoi any day of the week over dealing with Teemo/Nasus
Teemo is cancer and just blinds you every 3 seconds, and all nasus knows how to do is wither every 2 seconds and bonk

Zwag.. please can you try Tank Shaco? I know you can find it somehow special because your clon can proc heart steel, sunfire, unending despair, sterak, titan hydra etc..
when i play illaoi with heartsteel i prefer going conqueror, just for the added 1v5 potential, since grasp isn't that important with heartsteel

if you get first strike in the arena and you have illaoi next to you when illaoi uses e on dummy you can activate and get gold in the lobby
