This is the perfect cake for special celebrations or if you're feeling a little fancy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cake!
Cake Recipe:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large egg whites room temperature
1/4 vanilla bean or 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup pink champagne
Pink food color
Buttercream Recipe:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
2 teaspoons Champagne

I adore how this cake is decorated!!! Love how the icing is not 100% perfect!!! Gives it an elegance that is lacking with fondant which, for me, makes cakes look plastic and not nearly as delicious!!!

350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20-25min
Arie's Confectionaries thank you for replying...my oven has 300degrees centrigrade as a last setting so I guess I will have to keep it in the oven for more time
