Could anyone tell me if the dot on a inductor needs to be replaced with another one with the dot. Are do i need just the same values. I can not locate this thin film inductor. It is from a MacBook coming from the PMC. 0.47UH 20% 1.7A 0.175OHM. Thanks!

How you are checking resistance with continuity mode and why there is no beep sound at this mode ?

Sir , you set multimeter in diode mode , why there isn't buzz when you check inductors ? and why you don't select ohm mode ?
