I have two shih tzus with very reflective white hair especially on the forehead. I'd love to learn more about getting the exposure just right in camera and edit in a way that looks natural!
I'll add this to my list of things to film, for when I have a white dog in front of my camera! The most important thing will be: nice, soft light. Exposing for highlights (probably under-exposing a little), turning on Zebra stripes so you can see even those small blown out areas.
@@FenderBoyCP actually I’ve filmed this!! It’s in two parts! One on my favourite way to take group photos, and one on editing “head swaps” to make that group photo where all dogs are in focus. Remember that focus isn’t about focusing on a THING, it’s about focusing at a certain distance, and for a certain width. So it’s less about focus points and more about aperture, or taking multiple photos and editing them together 😊😊
I love this. Can you do videos of on location with clients and their dogs? Like how you’d worth with a dog that isn’t your own?

Useful & informative. For future ideas, maybe a video on taking photos of multiple dogs? I've been trying this and really struggling on focus points.
