Very impressive demonstration. Just had my first flight in the EV97 Eurostar last Monday from Eshott in Northumberland. Had an hour flying around the Northumberland coast which was a surprise birthday present booked for me by my wife. Great fun, loved the video.
It was quite challenging for me to interpret the British accent, I´m more accustomed to the American one. It feels like a mechanical typewriter is speaking to you, and the rhythm hypnotized me and my eyes closed in a brief sleep. I rewound the video several times. In any case, I found it very interesting and the information provided was complete. I enjoyed it very much. Greetings from Buenos Aires.
Very good buddy.hope to see you soon phil. Philip is interested in learning the micro light before moving on to the tbms. And the other planes. I think it is a good starter plane hope to see you and rory at Barton many thanks philip.
Great video, thanks! I'm currently (hopefully) nearing the end of my training over at Lt Gransden. I'm training in the C42 and absolutely love it but really love the Eurostar too! I've just realised you've done a video of your conversion training so hopefully you've answered some of my questions I have!!
Thanks for that mate. Really enjoyed that. Have had one flight in an Evektor a while ago and another one coming up in a week (Though it could be an Ikarus C-42). Either way, very useful information and thanks for sharing it.
Airline Pilot haha thanks! Well landing is the hardest part so get as good at them as you can and always remember you can go around haha. Glad you enjoyed, let me know when you pass your GST, I’ll give you a shout out!
Hi thanks for the video am keen to know when you got the flight folder you have on ur leg when flying, i am leaning to fly a microlight in New Zealand, i do love this aircraft what would the cost be for this one thanks Dave
Dave Bloom Hi Dave thanks for the supportive comment! I will soon be making a video on pilot knee boards explaining them and how I organise mine. Hopefully this will be out sometime next week!
Great video - again - on the Eurostar. Please let us know how you get on flying it - keep up the good work too. I can't recall if I've seen such before - apologies if it was on the conversion VT - but what is the Switches On sequence? Is it Master, Start Up (Mag checks), then Avionics, then Radio? Many thanks - and enjoy your flying.
Hey thanks for the great comment, it means a lot! Yes that sequence is about right but normally mag checks are done just before take-off when all of the aircraft is up and running. If you watch the RAF 100 video I made, I very quickly run through the whole checks before we scramble so you can see the full sequence. It is basically the exact same for the Eurostar as well.
A bloody good video that fella. I must say I would love to fly that thing probably more so than the C42 especially for the visibility aspect of it. Has Deanland expanded over the last 5 to 10 years or so as the last time I went there it didn't look like that with all the hangers and stuff? How many flying clubs are there?
David Cornwell thanks mate. Yes it has massively changed over the years and especially quite recently. I’ll be making a video about Deanland sometime soon 😀

As my instructor put it the three flap settings are lift, lift&drag, Barn door

Haha thanks! More than welcome! Keep me posted on how your training goes, wishing you all the best!
I passed last week, so chuffed! Now the learning really begins! Still love either the C42, Eurostar and the Jab 450....Decisions!
Had my first ever flight with this! Really cool experience! Ev-97 SL. 80 kts cruise 500-2000 ft ;)
I'm used to long hall flying as a passenger and need some tips on flying for the first time myself.

No problem, glad you enjoyed!
It looks a lot nicer than the one I had. how fast is the max cruise actually in it at altitude?
Nice vid, I'm doing my NPPL in a Eurostar over at Perth EGPT. Looking to go solo hopefully in the next month or so,just need to improve my landings :)

@@TheMicroPilot Yes always a wise decision to go around. And ye will let you know when I pass my GST :)
Random question, where did you get that jacket? Really like that and would be interested on getting one myself!
Nice video, great plane!
Didn't see any carb heat? Is it an injection engine?

The MicroPilot you're most welcome credit where credit is due. I will seek out your other video - thanks.
Do you need a key to start it?
Some do, some don't. You do need a key to open the canopy to get in though.

Nice video! Where is the trim in the aircraft?
EDXT Media two things I forgot were the flap and trim controls! They are two levers between the two seats. Really simple to operate!
@@TheMicroPilot okay, thanks :)
